Whats the version of the OS is it 10.4? Is it caused by an application?
Try updating the OS.

try changing to new version sa OS. if mao ghapon better i pacheck nmu sa ISTORE..what application imu ggamit nga mu hang cya bai.
my sa imu pud application.

have you checked your ram? as in totally freeze the system or the application program only?

upgrade to leopard bro....

run the disk utility(click tools> utilities > disk utility) verify and repair disk permissions.

ok raman ang RAM, 1 gig cya. totally freeze gyud ang system

If dili ka maka start up. Try using the MAC OSX tiger start up disk. Use the disk utility there.
