Neo Explore X1 --- the Asus EEE PC killer?

Hello everyone...

There's a new small laptop like the Asus EEE PC. It has the same specs but only bigger capacity of 30GB but with only 512mb RAM. I dunno as of now if its expandable. It runs on Microsoft XP Starter.

The one thing that's really bad about this is that it looks like it's made by vTech!

nakakita na ko ani sa ayala. electroworld man to cguro.
gi try nako. hinay kaayo mo load... btw, win xp ang gamit sa ato.
mura duwaan, wala lang sya webcam. pero tinuod 30GB ang hardisk.

if your planning to buy, mura naa man cguro ang pc-express. mas barato. check their site.

tinuod perting hinaya pero pwede daw ma expand ang RAM. I heard that a certain computer store ordered 400 units of this but got only sent 40 units. It's selling like pancakes in Manila coz the maker is purposely selling it at breakeven or minimal margin just to make its brand (Neo) famous.

how much ba pasabot nimo bai KABAW? nweis, sa ayala mura 19k man cguro but sa online pricelist sa PC-Express kay 16,999. ambot if applicable na na sa cebu.

If you want a unit that kills both the asus eeepc and the neo explore x1 get a fujitsu 1010 ( Power series ) . it's a 5.6 inch 800 mhz core solo with touch screen plus a .3 mp webcam with 160gb hdd and a 2gb ram. it also has a built in thumb reader for security plus a built in 3G for wireless internet in case wifi isnt available.Plus it is powered by windows vista saw this at around 12000 HKD.
