    what are the minimum specs for an htpc? pls. post here and prices if possible. thanks. im planning to build one soon.

    A good DVD±R/W or BD-R is recommended but not necessary
    At least 32" Full 2MP 1080p is recommended
    RF keyboard and mouse, BT preferred

    no need yet for expansion card for graphics, the onboard graphics is suitable for HTPC. it comes with HDMI onboard, HD Audio.

    i can relate with this kind of this setup because i have build one here.

    *plan to sell this & downgrade to Athlon x2 4000+
    -Patriot Extreme Performance DDR2-800 2x2GB changed to GEIL 1gb DDR2-667(1100.00)
    -320GB Seagate Barracuda SATA(old...)
    -external DVD writer - HP brand(old...)
    -ATI HD2600XT video card changed to HD3450(2800.00)
    -Samsung LCD TV w/ HDMI port(old...)
    -Viewsonic LCD monitor naka DVI karon(old...)
    -Altec Lansing VS3251(old...)
    -Intex TV Tuner w/remote(800.00)

    You will not go wrong with the new AMD780 chipset, its the best karun for HTPC.
