Default Condominium or House and Lot?

Just want to know what majority of the people in istorya would prefer . Both options have their own pros and cons and im sure it just boils down to the preference of the future owner. So what do you guys think?

I would go for a condominium. I think its a good investment and it give me the lifestyle i want (the lock and leave style). Condos are nearer to the city so i dont have to worry about traffic and getting late. Then all the amenities are already built in. Plus, i could have it rented out if i wanted or maybe sell it at a higher price in the future. I would go the new Persimmon project or the Woodcrest Residences. The developers have a proven track record and i am confident they will deliver what they promise. The Persimmon has a better location than woodcrest though plus it has the commercial area already built in with what they call the "urban living". Prices aren't out yet but the developers said it wouldnt be so expensive. Woodcrest on the other hand has a more residential community or surrounding in it. Plus it may be cheaper than the Persimmon.

Me? with family? I would rather go for house and lot...
Condominiums are for bachelors and single people.
Usually sa mga mag-live in partners... But if you have a family,
a growing family, prefer house and lot...

The house and lot would be a better investment. On the other hand, the condo will be better if you have a small family.

@ Logitek - thanks for bringing this up here! appreciate very much for initiating this topic as what you said in the other topic (amsira)
anyway, as i previously said, i prefer house and lot. H&L will last longer and will certainly be an everlasting asset of your family. Condo's are good for a short period of time. Space, garage, privacy (you need to control your voice as your adjacent room may hear you), hosting family parties and i can't remember the others.

pero for a family man like you who can afford to buy condo and at the same time H&L, then go ahead. You can let your extended family live in condo while your real family in your H&L... di ba, so sulit kaayo bro...

since i want peaceful place with a garden... i chose HOUSE AND LOT. condos are only good for a city type living plus the fact that it has higher maintenance budget. And, condos and house may not last for centuries but the LOT is there forever, thats why its value are always on upslope.
