what's that supposed to mean? did you mean USB wireless adapter? common USB wireless adapters and routers support 802.11g that can reach speeds up to 54 Mbps. The receptiveness of the wireless adapter depends on the location of the source, which is an access point or a wireless router. a wireless router and a wireless adapter are supposed to be paired together to work. you can't have either and expect your computer to have wireless internet/LAN.

do note that if you have a wireless router, you can use as many wireless adapters as you want to connect to the router, your internet will just slow down if everyone is downloading/MMORPG'ing.

you can share internt by just using the usb wireless adapte bai.. it also can be use as a soft access point......

akong internet connection s smartbro, naa rman cya sa room. gusto ko mkgamit sa laptop sa sala.. then mkig-share sad akong hausmate sa connection. okay rana gamitan og wireless adapter or wireless router?

ive used the usb wireless type, its ok 2 share ur net connection but ul hab 2 configure it as AP and the PC to wer its connected should always be on, unlike using a router wer the sharing or the net connection wont depend on the server but on the router itself. as long as the router is on then the sharing is ok.
