Default Companies with best opportunities for Software Developer / Software Engineer / Embedded systems developer

Computer engineering akong course, expected to graduate this March. I have few companies in mind though. Istoryans working in the same field, need help.

Good luck sa interview. Nindota lang imong resume para matawagan ka unya daoga sa interview. Be confident unya ayaw kalimti ang mga programming concepts na gitudlo sa college dapat nimo ma explain in your own way. If naa kay personal project na mapakita the better.

Naay daghan local companies in Cebu nangita - be it software engineer or embedded systems engineer. Get at least 2 years experience locally, then apply overseas. Mas dako ug demand ang embedded systems engineers overseas. Just to give you and idea - at present, our company here in Singapore is in need of an embedded systems engineer with specific experience with RTOS and ARM Cortex-M processors. That position has not been filled since Oct. of last year, whereas software engineering positions are quickly filled. Some companies here are desperate for specific talent which the locals are not able to fill. So if you are keen on following this career path, try focusing and specializing on those skill set. As countries aim for developing a smart nation - these specializations will become in demand in the near future - embedded systems/automation, ai and machine learning, data science/big data. Although a computer engineer becoming a data scientist is a bit far out, but it's possible - you'll just have to brush up on your statistics and math knowledge.
