LF: poker buddies

A couple of my friends and I are interested in some good ol' poker nights. For now we've decided to just play TEXAS HOLD'EM just because it's the one most people can relate to, thanks to poker tv shows.

We will be playing for money because poker isn't really as fun a game without a little pot involved.
Buy in will be a mere P100.00 to be played in chips.
I have the chips so no need to worry about that anymore.
Food will be made available by the host (to be decided later on)
Drinks, well it's something we will have to talk about too.


Basically, we're just looking for would-be friends to enjoy a nice game of poker with.

Im interested, nya para di ka magworry sa buy in amount nga P100. Lets make it a tourney format, your P100 will be good for the whole game and no re-buy ins. Then we could just make it winner take all, or 1st & 2nd price only(depending how many players there are and less fees for the host of course hehehe). bitaw noh. mas ganahan ko anang tourney format. that way, level ang playing field. sige, sige. okay ko ana. tinuod pud to imung ingun nga kung unlimited buy-in, perteng alkansiha jud nato ani. sige, let me know nalang when mu makaduwa. fridays.. well.. work ko ana, nightshift ko, but for the next few weeks, okay akong saturday nights.

i have a few friends who play online pud, maybe we can get together with your friends a play a few hands. sige, amping!

i like the idea of a tourneys with 100 buy-in. but lets allow a maximum of 2 levels of re-buy lang - subject to certain rules. i.e., a player can only re-buy if his/her chips goes down the minimum buy-in amount.

that way, people won't have to play incredibly tight for fear of dropping out really early.

well the blinds double every 12 mins, so sa 1st quarter of the hr ra tight ang play. And usually for home tourney formats w/ 9 players its 1-2k starting cash and a SB of 25 and BB of 50.

And we need just two colors of chips, around 12-16pcs for $25 and the rest $100 chips

with 6 players we can play around 2-3games in 3hrs, so with 9 it could be 2-3 games in 4hrs
