make the LAN IP address of your router as your Gateway and DNS to the workstations.

Chipmunk888 is right. if you routers ip address is 192.168.2.1 then put it in the gateway and Primary DNS server of your client pc's.

actually depende sa router if ang imo provider is Globe and then ang router na ila gi hatag sa imoha may built in na DNS then pede nimo gamiton ang ip sa imo router as gateway and dns.

pero if router lang gyud sya then sa gateway ra gyud applicable ang ip sa imo router.

if ur assigning a static ip sa imo workstation make sure they belong to the same subnet.

like for example if ang ip sa imo router is : 192.168.0.2 then ang setup sa imoha workstation is the ff:

    ip: 192.168.0.3
    subnet: 255.255.255.0
gateway : 192.168.0.2 <-- ip sa imo router

dns: Primary: 192.168.0.2 <-- use this if imo router has built in dns like sa mga globe na router

if ala built-in then call globe and ask for a dns.

kung globe imo dsl , you can use 203.127.225.10

or use open-dns 208.67.222.222 <--- very cool DNS

if you are configuring to automatic ip, if mag re install ka og window make it sure naka release to ang old ip address sa imong LAN TABLE sa router, coz once if that ip address is assigned to your work station some router will record the hardware address of your lan card that is base in my experience pod i dont know sa uban mga dsl router karon... so what i did ako sa e release ang katong mga ip nga deli na active...

and if you are installing new windows then automatic ip imong set-up try to release all the ip first of your work station pod para maka kuha pod sya new ip sa imong DNS server...

same as router gihapon deli niya ma release ang old ip address if deli nmo e manual...
