Question Freshwater Fishing spots in Cebu City?

Where can i find a good freshwater fishing spot in Cebu City? Or atleast within the tri-City area (Cebu, Mandaue, Talisay)?

Any ponds, lagoons, billabongs, creeks, streams, rivers? That's a good place to pass time & fish?

Somewhere i can fish impromptu when i'm bored. I preffer freshwater.

    Post here all you infos.

    Cheers!

It's the cheapest hobby so far yet.
Not to mention it's another alternative to cool off those itchy trigger-fingers, specially now that gun-ban's in place...

Well then, head on out to TCE Tackleshop & get yourself a kit! They'll give you the best for your budget and it's worth it.

the big thrill is in malubog dam, murag lake na kay kusog kaayo ang waves, when my dad was still working in Atlas mines, they caught a 7 ft carp stranded sa water pump strainer during bagyo Nitang and up to now there are still large carps,During the 1960s, the americans in the mines brought thousand of carp fries and disperse it sa dam, Na a sad large Tilapia, Last may i caught a 1 kg carp, its a long ride but worth it if not try fishing at Bigakon dam, ubos malubog, just pass at Media Once, lutopan. Its beside Carmen Diesel Power plant inside Old Atlas Mining(now CCC)

Tried lot of lures, poppers and flies, btaw it didnt work, best bait has always been worms, try the african night crawlers used in vermicomposting, its the best for fresh water fishing, have fun..
