    taken from SunStar:

They charge P200 for full-body massage, which takes one-and-a-half hours.

But if the customer’s house is quite far that it requires them to take several rides, they usually ask for P250 to P300.

    khymm and everybody

so instead of going to those high end massage places, why not try these guys who not only are professionals but at the same token are specialists in reflexology and Swedish-style massage. it's like hitting two birds with one stone, getting your regular dose of good massage and at the same time helping alleviate their plight. their contact no. is 269-9779, give them a call. make somebody smile today.

thanks in advance for your support and kindness

Visually impaired masseurs appeal to public: Hire us
    By Rene H. Martel
    Sun.Star Staff Reporter

LIGHT at the end of a tunnel is a cliché.

But nothing is trite when visually impaired masseurs, starving and without work, implore that people offer them a lifeline by patronizing their services.

“Among hangyo nga unta maluoy ang mga tawo ba kay naglisod na gyud mi. Pait kay wala man miy laing makit-ang trabaho. Ang mahimo ra namo ang pagmasahe,” said Mauricio Remolador, president of the Cebu Blind Association’s Pardo chapter (We hope people will help us because we are having financial difficulties. We can’t find any other job. We only know how to massage).

He lives in a shelter with eight other visually impaired masseurs and six musicians. Their families are also with them.

Remolador, 58, said he and his companions used to work at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport, offering services to tourists and locals alike.

But they were allegedly replaced with another group, and that was when their hardships started.

    Just 2 calls a day

Good thing their home has a phone, and they keep their ears open so every call is answered.

“Mag-apong mi sa telepono, maghulat kung mokiring. Karon, kasagaran, maayo na lang kung naay duha ka tawag sa usa ka adlaw,” he said (We wait by the phone for calls from customers. We’re lucky to get two calls per day).

They also take turns in responding to calls for home service, and set aside a small amount for their basic needs.

Remolador visited Sun.Star Cebu last week, saying it took him weeks to summon the courage to do so.

“Mauwaw man mi sir, kay basin naka-estorbo ba. Pero kay lagi among tan-aw dako mo’g ikatabang namo, gi-aghat gyud ko sa akong mga kauban nga mo-anhi,” he admitted (I’m ashamed to bother other people. But I feel coming here will help us a lot and my companions also encouraged me to do so).

Nelly, his wife of 28 years, served as his guide.
