Comments about istorya.net search engine

Dear Admin,

I have something that I notice here in istorya.net when I try to use the search engine at the index page (https://www.istorya.net/forums/index.php). When I try to search something, it display a message "ERROR: The requested URL could not be retrieved". Im experiencing this using my Windows XP, Linux Redhat 9, and Fedora Core 3. It's always be the output of the search if I want to search something on that page. Im suspecting if this is a bug in istorya.net's search engine. I hope you also notice this problem and will be fix sooner so that we can enjoy more the advancement of the forum site (istorya.net).

i also encountered this error always. vern told me to narrow my search more, because unlike before istorya DB is getting larger and larger so it takes time for the search engine to search the whole db, hence it timedout

So maybe the error is on the database itself....... But I hope this can be fix so that we can use the search engine to find something all over the categories........

Im experiencing the same error... and i think Search feature is a must for this site.

hmmm ambot lang kung asa dapit ang error but i haven;t encountered any problems before, katong karaan pa nga istorya.net..

or.. simply maybe.. daghan na gyud kaayo tigpost, ug mga post nga mag-gokud na ang server so dili na makaya ang search ALL

I will try to prune the database. Will see if it helps. Any other problems u guys are having?

i had this problem for almost a month now, had to refresh the page many times to get it loaded, i mean any page in the forum. even if i'm on wireless broadband connection.

another prob is that my log-in status is lost when i go down deeper into the individual topics, meaning i need to relog from time to time.

Me, too, have experienced it most frequently. Thread to thread browsing and even replying, always "cant find server"...
