Kun i-second priority na lang nato ang ubang mga subjects kay mag-focus na lang ta sa English, sa akong tan-aw, mosamut gyu'g kaulahi ang atong nasud. Busa gani gidasig sa DepEd ang mga magtutudlo paggamit sa lokal nga pinulongan (pananglit, binisaya) sa kindergarten paingon sa grade three.

Department of Education (DepEd) Undersecretary Alberto Muyot said the mother tongue-based-multilingual education (MTB-MLE) will be implemented next school year as part of the K + 12 Enhanced Basic Education Program.

In a memorandum, Muyot said the MTB-MLE will help enable every child to write and read by the time they reach grade 1.

The MTB-MLE will be implemented in two modes: as a learning or subject area and as a medium of instruction.

As a subject area, it will focus on developing the children’s reading skills and fluency in their mother tongue.

Except for Filipino and English, the native tongue will be used as the medium of instruction in all learning areas from kindergarten to grade 3.

Filipino will be introduced in the first semester of grade 1, while English will be taught starting in the second semester.

Point taken. Pero dili pud siguro sakto nga dili na lang ta magtuon og laing mga subjects kay ang tanan natong time adto na i-focus sa pagperpekto sa atong english grammar. Maski ang mga native english speakers, masayop pa man gani gihapon, kita pa kaha.

Tan-awa ang mga hapon, di ba kasagaran kanila kun mag-inenglis, hinapon gihapon paminawon ang accent ug grammar pero ang kalidad sa ilang serbisyo ug mga produkto gidayeg sa tibuok kalibutan.

Ang pagka-competitive sa usa ka tawo wala magdepende sa ka-maayo niya sa english grammar (gawas lamang kun english editor ang trabaho nga iyang gustong sudlan) kundili sa iyang ka-hanas sa 'field of specialization' nga iyang gihuptan.

Mag-unsa man ng magbula'-bula' ang baba og inenglis unya ang gipangsulti walay unod?
