That is the very problem . We get information by researching the net but then we tend to believe what we read because it FACSINATES us till we fall for it then sees as what it is whatever it is but then if you guys really dig what I am talking about , what normally do we find from our " researches " about FREEMASONRY in the net ? Do we normally end up in OFFICIAL SITES of the Craft or sites about ANTI FREEMASONRY ?

@ GIDDYBOY .... I am slowly losing faith of my church but my faith of my religion is still as tact as the day I was able to understand what it is .

The VATICAN sounds more like of a DICTATORSHIP HEADQUARTERS where if something crosses them , its a SIN and are bound to ETERNAL FLAMES . According to the bible ... Jesus even forgave the TAX COLLECTORS and PROSTITUTES and here we are talking about MORALS and how the VATICAN wants us to be as flocks .

That's funny. once again.
There are Catholics who are FreeMasons yet the Vatican does not like the craft, it's like Fr Suarez, A Catholic Priest being ridiculed by his fellow Catholic Priest.

yes, there are Catholics who are Freemasons, but the simple question is, does the church know about them being a member? ky di ba secret man kha...hahaha

and talking about Fr. Suarez, this is off topic na, but anyway, his intentions are good and noble. but my question is, being a Catholic priest, why defy and be radical about the hierarchy's internal policies? and i think he is not ridiculed, he is in fact criticized.

My personal opinion is that there is a danger of making the craft more important then the church.

in the phils? i'm not quite sure of that...most of our Catholics are a very conservative kind of Catholics. Mas motuo pa ko dghan ang Opus Dei and K of C for that matter...

Why would all these rumors about FM being a cult come out? why do some people think of it as a religion? why the close relationship to mormonism?

simple. freemasonry is NOT SECULAR in nature. it has intertwined relationship to Mormonism coz the founder and prophet of Mormonism is a freemason. to add, Mormon rituals are very much similar to freemason rituals.

well, we get both from the internet, reference sites and official sites. we get sites that tell us freemasonry is good, neutral, and bad. and it only depends on every person's perspective how he/she wanna view freemasonry as such. the thing is, no matter how hard we try to convince it as good, neutral or bad, nag depend ra gyud na sa individual...

u make it sound that the Vatican is currently in their Vatican I (Dark Ages) state. it was a long time ago where they hang heretics or burn "witches" at the stake, and those who do not adhere to Christianity is bound to eternal flames...hehe

We are already in Vatican II and the doctrine is not telling us anymore that being an atheist or whatever other religion (even cults) u r in to doesn't necessarily lead u to everlasting damnation...

when it comes to religion, there is always conflict.. even with the religion threads here in istorya.. even back in my college days during debates in our breaks or vacant times about religion.. why? because respect in other peoples beliefs and practices is lost, thats the reason why i see freemasonry as a good thing.. hehe.. it teaches you not to judge but to embrace.. char.. hehe..
its just like our get-together with my family, the matriarch is a devout catholic but some of her daughters/sons is a mormon,iglesia,muslim, etc.. and we still embrace each other because we are family.. char.. and if we talk about religion, its just gonna ruin the occasion..
i remember the movie "kingdom of heaven", about the time muslim and christians coexist in jerusalem, but still there are people who would try to destroy that peace.. hehe..

Well if what you are saying is your " personal " experience " then that is good but then its not . How can one be a REFERENCE site when it is admonishing HATRED , UNFAIRNESS and JUDEGMENT and CONCLUSIONS na baseless unless we are talking about WIKIPEDIA but then who would want to read wikipedia when we see headlines like FREEMASONRY is the NWO , ANTI CHRIST etc ?

OT : Maybe I need to but coming from a family of " sarado katoliko " and educated from one of the best Catholic schools from primary to secondary ... I dont think so . Yes its personal judgement but a judgement based from contradicting experiences rather than enriching ones self of knowing and living the faith w/o any remorse is more SAINTLY kay even if we know our CATHECISM top to bottom but we only keep on repeating our mistakes as HUMAN BEINGS , I call that HYPOCRISY .

Yes it sounds like it and I know many will agree with me also . Dont get me wrong , I will defend and protect my religion in any given time and place but as ive mentioned earlier , RC are supposed to have MORALS that governs our conscience according from the teachings and commandments . I dont see any LOVE OUR ENEMIES in the relationship from RC to FM but embraced even the MUSLIMS who has put more damage to CHRISTIANITY history wise .
