Danny Ildefonso formally retires from the PBA
PBA legend and former two-time MVP..

Talk N’ Text acquires no. 2 pick Rosario; Barako Bull, Ginebra swap | Philippine Basketball Association
Kani pung Mahindra(Kia) questionable sad ni ila move. Gi trade ang number 2 pick adto sa Talk n Text wa pa gani kaduwa usa ka game nya ang gi ilis puro ra sad role players.
mao ni naka bati sa PBA. SMH.
In fairness to Mahindra, although puro role players ila nakuha, it's like they loaded up on 3 versatile veteran forwards who are at least 6-5 and can play multiple positions in exchange for Troy Rosario, only one untested rookie. Canaleta can play at least SG, SF, PF, and maybe even C. Ramos can play SF, PF, C and Rob Reyes can play C and PF. Not a bad catch for Mahindra I should say.
ok ra na silang 3 bro as long as dili sapaw sa position ni pacman, lafs
I would have to disagree. For a non contending team like Mahindra, its not a good move to get these role players that will not make them contend for the title anyway. The best that these players could do is make them an average team. For a bottom feeding team its better to stick with younger prospects with higher upside and potential.
This kind of move would never happen in the NBA. Imagine how Lakers fans would react if they traded D'Angelo Russell for a couple of role players. Even Andrew Wiggins when he was yet to play a single NBA game was traded for All star Kevin Love. A top 2 pick like Rosario should at least net you an All-star in return or he should at least be given a chance to show what he can do for your team before trading him.
wa jud diay kapasar ang hapee og racal sa pba? para daghan nang farm team ba..
KIA won't trade draft pick for Mallari and Melton, but James Yap a different story | PBA | SPIN.PH
Usa sad ni sa ako gi kahibungan. Way back in April, Mahindras GM said that they would only trade their first pick for A proven star like James Yap or Jason Castro. Nya karon ila ra diay i trade ug mga role players. Naa jud ni under the table pakapin.
Aw imoha sad na opinion bro pero lahi ra man sad gyud ang PBA ug NBA. Ang lugi gyud ani nga trade kay ang NLEX kay they gave up Canaleta and Ramos who are vital parts of their rotation from last season and only got Kevin Alas. Hinuon, dako sad og potential si Alas. The thing is medyo crowded napod ang back court sa NLEX with Cardona, J Villanueva, John Wilson, Lingganay, Baloria, and rookies Garvo Lanete, AJ Vitug, Simon Enciso, & Jerramy King. They did pick Glenn Khobuntin so medyo nacushion ang impact sa loss nila Canaleta and Ramos.
As to letting Rosario go, I think Mahindra went with the numbers, they let go of one potential star forward in exchange for 3(although role players) versatile forwards that can help the team right away. Di pa ta kaingon kinsay lugi ron, depends on how Rosario turns out at TnT although nindot iya chance kay medyo nipis ang C-PF rotation sa TnT. Although daghan silag bodies in that position, most are either role players or over-the-hill players. He'll probably play behind Tautuaa and De Ocampo in either C or PF spots. Mahindra is thinking short term while TnT got the better deal long term.
