there's supposed to be an anti-prostitution bill pending in senate.. i think kay estrada ang author man tingali...
actually ang prosti kay naa card para sa ila weekly test ug palimpyo... its like an ID na sila kay limpyo or ni-agi sa city health officer for screening... yellow card man tingali ila tawag ana...
naa duha view on *** industry:
1. the women are prostituted women therefore they are exploited and needs to be save...
2. the women as *** workers therefore they need benefits and protection...
i think the anti-prosti bill is misconstrued as legalizing prostitution because it will not penalize prostituted women but rather the patrons...

yes, i agree, this is an old profession before Christ came. Hence, Christ came and saved us.. its the right time to prove that we have trully received Him. Before they were pagans, but are not now.. It's an insult to our faith.
Legalizing is crucial matter. Our governement is incompetent even to monitor garbage.. how we be assured that prostitution guidelines will be implemeted strictly. New chances of bribe, is instead, opened. SIngapore is singapore. People follow rules. Philppines is well... as it is. Its an added danger if not strictlly followed.
if legalized, Philippines will be the next Thailand wherein HIV/aids populace growing every year...
Ngano kaha dili man unta ta hilig kaon SILI bigaon man gihaponbisdak jud
Wrong .... since when did that happen ? Take for example in the state of Nevada , the PORN INDUSTRY has in no way connected to the FLESH TRADE INDUSTRY at all .
If you are making so much money in the PORN INDUSTRY , you dont try your luck in the FLESH INDUSTRY if you want to talk about MARKETING and BUSINESS .
The PROSTITUTION we are talking about here are those girls for example , the BONIFACIO / JUNQUERA / SANCIANCO girls who engages in the *** for sale scheme . For them to be regulated , 1 has to have a valid HEALTH CARD that shows she doesnt have STD . That she is taxable because she belongs to a CATHOUSE that has a business permit . Thats what I meant between LEGALIZING and REGULATING because by regulating , it is controlled say by an LGU and that means any prostitutes who are classified as STEETHOOKERS are outlawed . In the case of the LEGALIZATION , it is an all out declaration of selling *** that can cause STD , BROKEN FAMILIES etc .
To rephrase a poster's reply here ... we have to know the definition of the words here . PORN and PROSTITUTION are not in the same page .
" A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. " - 2nd Amendment , Bill of Rights of the United States of America
That is the only point we are exercising here . Nothing is wrong about LEGALIZING thru REGULATING the PROSTITUTION ISSUE , the problem is , are we ready for it ? Can the government handle the long term effects of it ? We do have more problems that has a priority to be fixed than giving the thumb's up for those " ADVENTUROUS PEOPLE " hehehe .

first currently some *** workers do have health cards... the problem is they get no protection form their pimps...
imagine kung makig-deal mo sa usa kababae sa junquera you'll pay her 300 pesos... khibaw mo pila ato mu-adto ra sa iyah... 50 pesos ra... ang bulk kay sa ila handler...
and even during days na ayaw nila or they are not feeling well they are forced by their handlers... this cleary a form of exploitation...
but naa sad uban like kanang sa mga clubs na babae, take home kay wala na gyud cut ang club ana.. so daku gyud kuha sa girl... basically kung pa-take out ang girl iya na own independent decision...
then we also have the escort service kini kay dili kaayo ko familiar... kay high class namn ni sila...
then naa sad mga girls na through text lang ang way na ila gibuhat ila trade...

but in the same book.. im not referring to technicalities here.. lets deal with the essence..
im a businessman.. i would say that promotions and advertising are crucial to success..
you are correct with the difference between regulating and legalizing.. cant argue with that.. legalizing is stepping it a notch further..
legalizing it would encourage investors into this new industry.. then how would you market it? (aka maximizing profits) you need to promote and advertise... and how would you you advertise, you will have to encourage people to use such services thru media..
are you familiar with japan's red light districts, with its cleverly labeled massage-and-health-parlors, you know what happens in there.. they create porn to advertise such services...
that could happen... IF this law is legalized..
regulating it is a good way of monitoring the spread of STDs.. we really need to worry bout such things.. they are wreaking havoc on the people...
