True, there maybe a lot good the Garcia's have done for the Province, but they are showing as if the Province does not have 100 times more land area and population to help and develop compared to Cebu City. Therefore it is more clear that they have a big interest in the City since it is clearly making more more more money compared to what the entire province can generate. GREED.

If I were to say something to the GARCIA's: Stay out of the City and mind your own business. Wala nang hilabot ang mga tiga Cebu City sa inyo. Kamo nang hilabot and worse, dli gyud pa pildi kay high pride. Win an election in the City first...if you can!

my point exactly! mas interesado pa sila i-develop ang yuta sa province nga naa sa cebu city kaysa yuta nga naa sa province mismo, ngano kaha? if i were the governor gwen says she is and with the zero-debt of the province, i could turn around the province and make cities in them. fast and efficient mas transit ra ang key ana but hey, they don't want to go to all that hassle and expense coz mas sayon man mo-dawat ug commission sa pangmasyar ug yuta.

they never built anything on their (capitol) own, it's either gikan sa national or binaligya/JV nga yuta but long term, tangible project like EPZA's, IT/Business Parks, alternative highways, etc., wa pa gyud ko kita.

they cannot even make CPPO efficient and provide them with the right equipment and the right manpower.

huh? as if gyud? kuyawa ana gud. mugna mugna raman tingali nang imohang post...can u expound it further?

the question is like a sirang plaka: ngano manghilabot man cla sa SRP/FLI deal?

A simple answer is political vendetta.

u then ask "why man gyud mobawos?" answer: why not?

u r wrong there my friend. The Province is interested in taking back land that originally belongs to them for the benefit of their constituents. and most of these lots are in the city. and development of Provincial lots in a city is not something to be a surprise . Mohimo ba diay ang Ayala ug mall naa sa Argao? Mahimo ba diay ang Waterfront hotel sa Car-car? mahimo ba diay ang IT Park sa Santander? LOLs

and by the way, didn't u know that there is an ongoing multi-million peso beach resort project down south in the works, with foreign investors wooed by the Province? secret...

in fact they already did but unfortunately they failed. where have u been? Bogo, Naga, and Car-car were already declared cities before the SC nullified it.

and how can u even make a city out of a municipality with only like 10,000 residents huh? LOLs pag chure ui!!!

    pls do ur research...

please do some research and not just become a passive reader...Asiatown IT Park mind u is long term. The ship-building facility in Balamban is long term baya pud. The Leyte-Cebu power grid in the south is long term pud. and that is not all.

oh really? then why did the news reports say otherwise? LOLs

now that u mentioned it, why in the world does city hall want the new CPPO bldg demolished after it has been just finished construction saying they want a new road passing thru it?
