    that's the only fault? where have u been?

    if we follow the current events,
    (1) ngpasaka na ug kaso c Jan2x sa hospital and the med staff involved. 6M in damages ha.
    (2) DOH has released the names of the operating staff for administrative sanctions.
    (3) Malacanang wants swift justice on the case.
    (4) pasaka-an pud ug kaso ang nipaslak sa canister.

    unya ang posting ra sa youtube ang fault? so mas maayong laki pa ta sa mga abogado, DOH, ug media ani?

    sa pgka karon gani unta, wala na ta nakiglalis sa nahitabo sa OR ky klaro pa sa tanang klaro.

    @fingolfin

    So you're saying it's okay that we violate a patient's privacy as long as we keep it to ourselves and don't publish it to video-sharing websites?

    Wow. Like ... wow. World of Warcraft ka pare!

    Let's all pretend that the video wasn't uploaded to youtube. The way they behaved inside the operating room is unprofessional at best.

    fingolfin ... you are my idol. Swear! You are the singular, most convincing argument against breeding.

    @giddyboy

    As much as I hate to say it ... I must agree with you.
    .. attack the opinion not the person... k ??

    i know...thank you. as what a moderator have said to me before, all of this (forum) is virtual. As much as possible, we should debate or discuss the topic or the argument and not the person giving the post. I for one, in one way or another is guilty sometimes but i always remind myself that I don't arrive at the point of making Ad Hominems. We are just human after all. btw, i apologize for yesterday's affair on another thread that you made. It was way out of line. But I hope you got the point.

    as i've said before, there is no more need to argue on what happened in the OR. wa man gani nakiglalis ang mga sad-an. kung akoy abogado ani nila, the best i could offer is amicable settlement ky sure pa sa tanang sure nga pildi.

    .. nice, personal attacks. Anyway, have you any idea what goes on inside the OR ?? What the resident doctors do to patients to test the deligence of the interns and the nurses.... have you been inside an Operating Room ?? If your answer is NO, then, for sure you don't understand.[br]Posted on: May 02, 2008, 12:16:27 PM_________________________________________________

    .. OT. It's good to know that you're setting an example to the other members here in Istorya. As much as the discussion becomes so heated, you must not resort to personal attacks.

    ..back to the topic.... there are much crazier things happening in the OR.

In the first place, it was a very funny case, and doctors, as professional as they are, they are STILL HUMAN, and is subject to emotion. Having seeing a whole canister of perfeum inside a man due to a sexual act is really ridiculous and the jubilation we all saw was celebration of a successful operation. They did it to relieve the tension....... but... the ONLY WRONG THING they did was to aire it on youtube, they should trace the one who broadcasted it on the internet and press charges against that person. And the homo, is in fact, just a village away from ours', the guy is really poor and he should be thankful to the doctors that they plucked out that thing inside his body.

    @taga_ipil, act like animals In what way ?? Don't be so judgemental over one issue...

    yes, youre true for a fact that doctors and nurses inside that operating room was subject to normal emotional response which is to LOL when they are happy, but they are all medical personnels inside a very confidential operating room.. they are expected to act like professionals and to treat each patients the right thing that they should be treated.... whats the value of ethics if we just base our reasons on the mere fact that we are humans? the issue here is not the canister itself but what and how they acted.... before they aired that video on youtube it was already passed around through cellphones.... they have really violated a lot of standard operating procedures.. from disrespecting the patients right to privacy, cellphones are not allowed inside the operating, there should only be at least 5 medical personnels inside the operating room, talking and laughing while the operation is still ongoing is strictly not allowed... and lastly making fun to patients and taking there advantage while they are still under the effect of anesthesia is purely against the medical ethics... these personnels inside the operating room should be subject to due process so that fair and enough judgement be imposed to them...

    no need to argue about things, nahuman nani niabot na gani sa CNN, BBC and FOX

    Link to CNN: http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/asiapc...ref=newssearch

    what we need to talk about is how to resolve this, and bring back the worlds trust and confidence in our doctors and nurses. Some countries who are extremely sensitive to issues like this "Patient Privacy" mostly western countries might stop or defer hirring Filipinos.

    Medical practitioners have Code of Ethics just like other professions. If the alleged
    conduct was totally unprofessional that violates one of those ethics, then they must be
    responsible and liable to face the consequences of their action.

    PRC or DOH should lead the investigation and take the proper means to defend the
    privacy of the patient and preserve the integrity of the medical profession.

    I have seen the video in youtube and it was absolutely distasteful and disgusting.

    Para nako insakto lang 2 years suspension pero kung namatay man jud ang pasyente then lifetime suspension jud. Malooy sad ta sa ila pamilya. Wala man gani ma media ang ubang criminal nga mas grabe pa ani nga sitwasyon. The thing is morally sayop na daan sa pasyente and this is the pandora's box that opened something bad to everyone involved.

    Also ang face sa pasyente wala pa nakita while sa doctors and nurse nakita na. Being balanced, ipakita sad unta ila face. Why dili man? Im not in favor sa doctors or sa pasyente. Im looking for the balance. That student guy should also face investigation. Again, just my own thinking.

    The fact that Jan2x or whatever his name is stuck a perfume can up his ass is beside the point. Sure its hilarious but doctors are expected to be professional, as what most posters in this thread have already said. The fact lang na gikuhaan ang operation ug video without the patient's consent is a big screw up na.

    they just need to suffer the consequence of their actions as professionals.

    kung tinuod nga gi allow ang vide0 for documentation, they should just present their case.

    media has the huge help lang in getting the sympathy of the people on the side of the victim that is good so the case wont be neglected especially coz he's somewhat poor...duh!!

    If we are going to look at the root of the problem, it is all his fault. he is so mean and demeaning to the ego of the guy...ni resulta dayon..human sya... so, end of story,, everybody has to change some better attitude...
