81 against? against stupid defense. how about scoring 59 against pistons defense which was the best defense ever did which concentrates only on MJ,chasing him down on screens, constant double teams, triple teams sometimes, bet kobe can't even pull in a 30. if it were today's game Jordan would have had lots of chances at the foul line.

yep, hate him.of course all of the players can score anytime they want.like MJ,in the nba season,in the playoffs,in the championships,if he wants to score even if you are hardcore pistons defense,it can't even stop him.MJ forever.24 is just a shadow of 23.you see how 24 follows 23?just count.to add something up.notice kobe scoring 40+ points with reaching 50% FGP? cause he can't score like MJ

I can understand comparing one player to another, but I never really understood why one has to be better than the other.

I'm no Lakers/Kobe fan, but when he hits a turn-around fadeaway jumpshot deep from the 3-point line with a hand on his face and does it in regular basis... the only thing you can really say is: "What the hell!?"

Then again you watch old tapes/YouTube clips of MJ as he takes off for a dunk with his tongue out... then you're reminded what 'poetry-in-motion' is.

At the end of the day, Who cares bout the stats. Can't we just appreciate both these two great athletes and what they have given to basketball?

When it's all said and done, Michael 'Air' jordan will forever be in history books as a man who not only changed basketball, but was bigger than the game itself.

Kobe 'Black Mamba' Bryant on the other hand will forever be known as one of the most fearless, clutch player to ever grace the game. He also taught us men that you can cheat on your wife, just make sure you can afford a huge diamond ring to go along with your apology.

    So there.

Jordan jd ko. Kobe stats are now declining. at age 32, Jordan is still at its best

Mura nag Pacquiao si Jordan ug si Kobe kay si Ali. but at the end of the day Bob Arum will tell whose the best of all time.

Jordan has a year and a half off however and didn't jump from high school to the NBA. Kobe did, and he never took a year and a half off, so the mileage built up and is building up. two of the factors why Kobe's declining a little earlier than MJ.
