the way i see it, there will be no legislation passed concerning same- s3x marriage. majority of the people in the country are conservatives, although we openly accept the members of the LGBT for what they are, there are just some things that they cannot change in their favor. lawmakers would not even want to touch such sensitive topic - just look at the RH bill or the law on divorce - it's been there for a while. they would not even want to get their hands dirty on this.

although it's their civil right to enter into a union with their partners, it will really take some time before it can be acceptable in society. but, it's also not fair to pull the Bible stunt on the member. they have made their own choices to be what they are now, at least we could show them respect. after all, they're people and when judgment day comes, everyone will be judged by the good that they did for mankind and not how righteous we are when we were still alive. go easy on them, it's not easy being different from society.

good point! Actually, we have been easy on them...it's just annoying how some people insist on such issues. We know that LGBTs have been cohabiting already and by observation no one is knocking at their front doors and burning them alive. So yes, we have already extended what we can to accept and allow them to run their own lives. But insisting on same *** marriage is obviously too much for this society.

IF it is not a choice then it can only be a disease or an anomaly of the species. A mutation detrimental to the survival of our kind since it is a hindrance to our most important function which is to procreate.

We should start seeing gay people in a different light. Dapat ta malooy nila kay duna na silay sakit mas lood pa sa sangla.Pwerteng loora jud intawon anang ilang gimbuhaton. But unfortunately this incurable and untreatable disease seems to be contagious and is both airborne and sexually transmitted. Airborne in the sense it infects children who acquire the disease by mere observation and sexually transmitted in the sense that genes that cause homosexuality are said to be genetic in nature hence being passed from generation to generation via sexual contact. The best thing to do would be to sterilize all carriers of this gene therefore ensuring that all future generations of mankind are devoid of this very lood na disease na hugaw kaayo ug bisyo mang paslakanay sa gawsanan ug ta3. yucks...

sa tanan imong gistorya chicchic, di masabtan kung ang topic about gay marraige ba imong si commentan or about christians? unsa man imong stand? Uyon ka or Dili? & if unsa man imong disisyon, pwede sad ka mosight og nganong kana imong decision. ana ra kasimple.

now, if you think dili conservative ang pinas, check RH bill. nakapasar ba.
then check if naay bayot (sorry sa term) nga inyong silingan nga dili bugal-bugalan og mga stambay. pwera cguro kung datu or maayo og breeding (professional nga klase). but kanang bayot nga kusog kaayo magpatagad sa dan, aw suki sa bugal2 jud na. ang question ana kay, bugal-bugalan ba sila tungod bayot sila or tungod sad sa ilang bastos nga kina-iya? so sa kaning duha ka scenario, makita nimo nga semi-liberated ang pinas. pero there are issues nga di dapat i-push because sensitibo kaayo. parehas ani.

I think the problem here is that gays want their respective religious organizations and the entire society to recognize their union through the coercion of the law. The law cannot change minds, perceptions, biases, prejudices, etc... it is foolish to think otherwise, and cruel to do otherwise.

Religion has nothing to do with it. This is a democratic country and the rights that we are aiming for are Constitutional rights. People are still hung up on marriage as if its the "property" of the church. IT IS NOT. Marriage is a civil Union recognized by the state, regardless if it is acknowledged by whatever religion or not.
