karon ra gi tao sa amo.. wala pako kita or naka hibaw kung unsa nga modem ang gi gamit.. ako rang parents ra naa sa pag taod nila.. so if nag ka taon nga akong modem ang new modem na sa pldt theres no way to share??

bai tabang na nipalit ko wireless router gi configure nako dili lagi ko kaconnect sa internet... diba idhcp dili na pppoe gamiton linksys diay brand sa akong wireless router wrt54gc

so meaning to say, even if my zyxel 600 (from PLDT) has only one ethernet port.. mas maayu nalang ni.. kai ma share pa.,... d b?

pwede jud kay ako getesting ako notebook makaacess mn... then palit ka router para mutiple PCs na ang makagamit

naa ba password kung magconnect ka sa internet if wala, naa ra sa configuration sa imo wireless router... ug update d i sa imo wireless router... kay naa ko plano palit ug wireless router, pero murag ok ko sa netgear

The new modem is PL-DSL1

made for PLDT

Unfortunately for new subscribers.

PLDT is using bridge protocol rfc1483 encapsulation

this makes it harder to share the connection.

also everytime you boot up the pc when you type a website on IE or Firefox..... A log-in screen will appear. you key-in your username and password.

Its similar already to smart wifi.... where you have to log-in everytime you want to surf

this feature is just to prevent mulitple pcs using the connection.

so please avoid pldt at all cost. that is if you want to share the connection....

if you have only 1 pc then pldt will be fine

now this is their set-up in guadalupe andres street. i don't know of other areas. plan 999.

this information is completely wrong and oposite. ang new modem sa pldt is a router hybrid na which allows easier sharing upto 4 ports.. yup its the PLDT-DSL modem..

Pero sakto siya nga "PL-DSL1" ang new modem-routers noh? Did you do anything to make it multi-pc capable or dili na kailangan imodify ang settings? From sa mga posts sa nakuha from pinoydsl ang tipidpc forums, naa pa man minor changes lang...

The first time, I ran my sis-in-laws connection (as in bag-o gyud og open ang pc og dsl modem), diretso ra man...
Will have to check their speed though since duol duol ra man sila sa PLDT Mabolo
