    Default Re: AMERICAN FOOTBALL: NFL fans, who's your pick to win SuperBowl XL?

    @omad how did you do bro.

    im 2-2 but the most important thing is i saw the best games of 2005-2006.
    which is indy vs pittsburg and seattle vs pittsburg. in superball 40 there were 2 new superball records.
    pittsburg won their 5th superball which is the most by a team. check san francisco or greenbay how many they won.

    @cool, i'm way under .500 with my picks during the play-offs until today. it was a fun season though. i'd like to do better next season.

    hey guys, if it's fine with ya'll i'd like to change the topic to "NFL 2006-2007 seaason". so we can discuss superbowl XL then talk about the incoming season: drafts, training camp, pre-season, regular season til the next superbowl. we can pick games weekly just like what we're doing in the play-offs.
    Shut Up! Let your GAME do the talking!

    i watch mma now.
    I like it because the matches are fast

    Wildcard Weekend is IN the playoffs and why does not it count? As far as I know, wildcard weekend is part of the postseason

    http://www.superbowl.com/scores/2005/week18

    And the rest is history. As you just said, we didn't start picking the games until the playoffs. Postseason is the playoff :mrgreen:

    @Big l nimZ, i think what @cool was saying was that your first post on this thread was after the wildcard weekend. it was right after i posted the results for the "wildcard weekend games" that we picked teams before the "divisional playoffs". all of us here didn't post our picks for that week (wildcard).

    anyway, we'll do this again since i'll change the topic to "NFL 2006-2007 season". we'll have all our inputs/picks on the draft, trades, training camp, pre-season games, regular season, playoffs and eventually the next superbowl. then we'll tally our wins and losses at the end of the season. there'll be no betting though, just "bragging rights" for the following season thereafter.

    everyone's cool with that?
    Shut Up! Let your GAME do the talking!

    @biggie

    bro if you read your first post in the first page you started picking playoff games,
    you didnt pick any wild card gamess.
    anyway, omad already posted the scores to the wild cards bro.
    you gotta adjust your wins bro.

    Oh I get it now. See the thing you keep saying 'playoff' games it throws off the post season in general. The wildcards is part of the post season and post season is the playoffs unless your referring divisional playoffs then yeah its divisional playoffs but wildcard weekend is a playoff too. So its all cleared. Still who said its a contest? Outside the forum I'm 8-3 but here I guess its 4-3 above .500 and still better ^^

    @omad.

    next we got the last football game of the 2005-200, the pro bowl.

    AFC vs NFC

    I choose the AFC over NFC, you all know why. Indianapolis Colts.

    somebody here likes the panthers. i know who he is.

    celtic predator is 1-0 or 100%
    biggie is trailing close by.
