If GUI is concerned, Mac OS na lang jud ko...wala ra gihapon nagkatunga ang MS hangtod karon and MS is planning to stop the distribution of Vista by 2010 to open for the release of Blackcomb...pero, kay PC man ako gamit, agwanta na lang sa ko ug XP...dual boot na lang nako ang Vista pang-entertainment na lang...

I suggest adto mo sa Linux kay free ra... Naa man gani gi-endorse ang Microsoft, called the Microsoft Surface Touch Table, and they're even selling it for $10,000... the bad thing for them is, Linux has even developed a similar project, which they call the MPX Dtouch table, and they're saying that it may become free... see? You'd be able to save efforts and money, unlike what Bill Gates is trying to impose on us users...

Vista GUI? Absurd. Ubuntu "Hardy Heron" effects are even more fascinating and does not require you to change to high-end motherboards and new CPU's. That's for the now. By the time they launch their new Windows Vienna / 7, the free open source projects would have developed a newer, faster, and safer operating system that would put Microsoft leagues away. Try to take a good look on the extreme improvements Linux has done on an ordinary P4 machine. It's Windows Vienna sausage by then.

After a year..Vista has sp1 so ako gtry again...kung dli compatible ang application pwede man i run sa compatibility mode..so run ghapon...

i like:
1. Picture manager (murag media player...heheheh)---> wla ni sa XP
2. Media Center
3. Dreamescene ---> nice kaau ni..wahehehe..
4. Game Central/Manager ---> dli na ka cge pangita sa mga folders..
5. ug pina ka da best is DX10....---> play a DX10 game and u'll see the difference...(except for some)..

i dont like:
1. taas hardware requirement
2. UAC (user account control)

All of that us true. I love Linux. My 2nd PC runs on Linux... but... I'm a gamer. Hasol kung dili Windows. I know there are ways to run games on a Linux PC... but I'm a lazy bum who prefers to just install a game and play it.

Lemme quote our humble admin, vern.

If you have compatibility problems, you're using outdated hardware, I guess.
Since I have Vista, I did not encounter any issue. All my software and my hardware are working properly.
And I do not regret it. I have no lockups, no blue screen and all this XP crap.
