ey dude, do you know what you are saying? read the previous posts before you blab away. if you're smart, you should not be saying that coz you have just jumped into the bandwagon. by saying that, i strongly presume you have already been directly or even indirectly a VICTIM.

I decline to say it here because it will result to word war, tongue-lashing or trash talk coz if I have to say the truth it will eventually undermine the other group & they will get hurt & react. it will just open old wounds.

try to get a truthful answer from them instead if they will really be honest & objective about it.

Actually I'd like to hear it. You ask one or the other, each has a different answer.

not here vern. during the peace dialogue they coined this as "irritants" & i even argued "so what, if that's really the truth?" hehe!! but in a peace process we should put things like that aside.

if you really insist on knowing, i believe it's best that you get it from them coz considering that they will tell you the truth, it won't undermine us whatsoever. it is better & safer if it will come from them.

It shouldn't be about what is better and what is safer. This is about the truth. I have many friends and both side, and frankly, most don't give a crap anymore. I would've wanted the truth, but I guess I shouldn't expect objectivity on this matter from anyone who belongs to either groups.

What does this say about fraternies? I don't see sense in resorting to violence at every turn. Both fraternities, yours and akp are giving fraternities a bad name. Both of your organizations have brought this upon yourselves and upon every other legitimate fraternity in Cebu. It has brandished us as thugs. Cebu doesn't know the meaning of fraternity because the biggest fraternities in Cebu hasn't shown by example what is means to be in a fraternity. People don't see the tree planting activities, the fund raisers, the food given to the poor, the habitat for humanity activities ... people see "tau gamma shot by akp". If both of your organizations want to respected, then give people a reason to. I've had many many friends on both sides, and not many have led by example ... most have led by peer pressure. Many on both sides are good people at heart, but I feel most are pressured into fighting a war that wasn't their's ... fighting for territory that never belonged to either.

That's why the media is so unfair. They prefer the bad news over the good ones. They never publish or air those charity works because i think, for them that is not news. Again, it all boils down to where it started & who always starts the trouble. Try searching the local news websites' archives section & you'll know what i'm talking about. Because of the provocation, most of our time, energy & resources are uselessly spent on defending ourselves. In a frat war, there is always an antagonist. The question is, who?

Regarding some people's posts, we should be sensitive enough to consider other people's feelings & post it in an objective way so not to spark any unpleasant reaction. I am very careful with my posts, careful enough not to hurt anybody's sensitivity including the other group & here comes someone who is not even really privy to the situation & blurts out a nasty comment out of the blue. We need talking points here for everybody's benefit & not just post anything such as a some lousy opinion & worst, getting personal. In my years of being a forumer I never had an enemy & I always try to be objective. As forumers, we should practice ethics, decorum, protocol & put in mind other people's sensitivity, first & foremost most especially in this particular section of the forum.

Now, one of the moderators offered that his thread be locked, it is even better to delete this whole thread if some few individuals talk "that way" here. If this thread is no longer constructive or informative & is getting to be a nuisance, then by all means i am agreeable that this thread be deleted.

I would like to suggest to all Frats that you filter your members... dili kay dawat kay dawat lang para mo daghan... mao nay nahitabo naay ma member nga way klaro... hasta walay labot apilon. onsay silut kung makasala ang frat member... bunalan. I thought bunal is just for kids.

Bitaw bai... kong gusto mo dili ma branded inyo fraternities as barbaric, overhaul ninyo ang inyo grupo. Kay daghan na ga lagot sa inyo grupo, kay hasta wala tay apil damayon, kay gikasuya-an lang. Pasangil pa usahay pangutana kong AKRHO ba... wala pa gani katubag, to-ana gikulata na, usahay duslakon pa jud pinaka pait kay mamusil pa.

Before I have high regards for fraternities... pero karon nag anam ka wala kay ang fraternities karon synonymous na sa word nga GANG.
