i know some people who lost their faith when they became a catholic dahil sa mga priests...so they found light in being a born again christian...bu then they got dismayed kc ganun din daw ang mga pastors...now they only go to church to have the quite need to pray and talk to god...i have to admit that im not a dedicated catholic, but HE STILL MY FAITH... FAITH or RELIGION? how do you get close to god??

its not the priest, minister or pastors that will make us a GOOD FOLLOWER or BELIEVER, its the doctrine.
in the TRUE CHRUCH OF GOD its GOD Himself choose who will lead, He will give him knowledge how to deliver and execute GOD's words,doctrine and laws.

as said in Galatians 1:8-9 and Romans 1:16

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

so its not the personality of your priest, pastors or minister that will makes us doubter of GOD's words.

God will give understanding to His leader of His flocks.
So one thing in mind if your priest,pastors and ministers preach/preaching that is not inclinded with the bible they are ravening wolves.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

so when you're inside the true CHURCH of GOD then its all righteousness.
