not really. the e6600 was only lightly overclocked. Ryan managed to run it at 3.6ghz.
my air cooling is Thermaltake Big Typhoon and Ultra X-connect 500watts.

Mine doesnt make sense!!! CPUZ is not reading it right... anyone else using vista while OC'ing? im blaming vista for what should be this:
E4300 1.80GHz > 3.15GHz

guys, are you steppings off? I cant post it until CPUZ validates it correctly Sorry, ma libog man gud.

CeeJay, I can see that cpuz is reading your multiplier "x6" instad of "x9" can you check sa BIOS if your C2D steppings is on, coz it mite be throttling down your clock when Idle or you could take your validation while running something that will throttle your clock back up. Test it lang sa daw

@ryan i think cpuz validates it correctly (440*8 in my case) some other programs just thinks im using the multiplier 9. duno whats wrong software probably needs update.
