This coming October 20 up to October 28, 2007, the Airsoft Games Club, Incorporated - Cebu Chapter brings you the 5th National Airsoft CQB Competition dubbed as "Assault on Sector 5".

When:
Local Elimination: October 20-21, 2007
--- Airsoft Federation of Cebu (AFOC) Affiliated Cebu Teams ONLY

National competition: October 27-28, 2007
--- Teams from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao

Where: Mactan Economic Zone (MEPZA), Lapu-lapu City, Mactan Island, Cebu.

Due to limited time per level (~16 hours of battle/ level, 15 minutes/game, round robin) we are limiting the number of teams to 12 slots ONLY!!

Max Players/game per team: 21-man-team. No limit for substitutes. Approximately, more than 252 airsofters. Very limited slots!!

Deadline of Team confirmation is October 1, 2007.

A team who falls below the required number of players are required to join/unite with other lonewolves or teams to reach the desired number of forces

how much would it cost?

Im also planning to buy one but still considering the issues and costs involved.

Permits needed. Ownership. Permit to carry, etc.

Weapons and accessories cost. Registration/legalization cost if any.

I need somewhat a ballpark estimate.

most shops i know dont facilitate the registration since registration of airsoft guns are done per team. the cost for registration per gun is 200. that is a lifetime registration already. u dont need anymore a permit to carry since that is already included in the registration. if u will be travelling to out of cebu then u need the permit to transport which u can secure after you have registered. if u have friends from airsoft teams then i suggest u join them so it would be easier for the registration and legalization process.

for the weapons, there is a vast majority of brands and models that will suit your needs and your budget. there is the china made which is a lot cheaper and there is the japan made. its just like cars. u get what u pay. quality comes with a price. try to visit airsoft dealers here in cebu so you will have an idea what you are getting into.

How about the registration of guns for freelancers or lonewolfs? I dont get this clear. Say my family plans for a free for alls. We will buy guns, accessories, etc., find a few hectares of hilly land and make it as a battle ground. Family matters to settle. exclusive to family members.

Does this mean then that all of us would still need to join a team just to register and have all of our guns legalized?
