if only there's a way for to verify that these people they're killing are indeed criminals who should've been executed years before, then i would say THIS is what we need right now.

so what made us so sure anyway that these "hunters" know who they're gonna strike? do you think the chances of mistaken identity is close to zero? and because it seems they have unregulated power, who's gonna stop them from putting a bullet into the heads of those people they have grudges with and then getting away with it? giving people power to kill is something very alarming. for me, it isnt really about getting "justice" at all.it's a sleazy way of enforcing the "law". tinapulan nga paagi, kung buot huna hunaon.

it's a killing spree out there and i pity those who are next in line. if only i could do something about it. it puts a peso value to human life. for me, life is priceless. i had been a victim of something serious once, but i would not want those offenders killed without a trial. sure i wanted to break their necks but they're humans. they should be put to trial and convicted lawfully. only then can true justice be served.

these people have already been put to trial and convicted lawfully, and in fact have served their sentences, but once they get out of jail they go back to commiting the same old crimes again. These people are beyond redemption. These are the people with a long list of crimes committed. These are not the amateur juvenile snatchers they are the hardened criminals. This is the only language they understand.

To simply imbed it in the pea brains of the robbers that City Dad is serious about it .

Boy Bastos by the way gave comments already to the TRIALS issue for the robbers , kani sila mga walay tinai na mga tao . Martyr ra kaau ta kung mao pa na ang atong tan-aw nila , ok ra nila patyon ta unya kita di ok kung sila ang ma bugto ?? Ngano ni enter !!

@ BoyBastos: if these "hardened" criminals have been convicted already, then why the hell did they get out of jail that soon to continue wreaking havoc to society? pardon me for not having researched about the timeframe but are druglords and other "hardened" criminals (those who committed heinous crimes, as they've said) allowed to get out of jail before a span of 20 years or less, if not given life sentences? if that's so, then theres something terribly wrong with the law. really, were ALL of those who were killed already underwent trial? hmmm....

@ Springfield: i was reading some articles about mistaken identities in the US setting. that might have influenced my mind while i was posting. well, yeah i probably didnt give those "intelligence units" enough credit. what i wanna say is that mistaken identities might not be the only problem. they could also kill/hurt innocent people along the way, just like how they wounded a son of a suspect a few days ago.

I have little qualms about putting an end to these criminals, but that is if they underwent trial already. As i have said, killing these suspected offenders on the spot only proves how worse the situation is our judicial and legislative bodies. Pinusilay nalang kay dili naman nila halos makaya ang mu arrest and i-put to trial kaning tanan offenders. Hasulan naman cguro sila, mao na diretso nalang patay bahala na walay ensaktong proseso. They directly kill them but their reasons for doing so do not satisfy me at all.

Osmena is sending a wrong message. While the threat causes heart attacks to some suspected criminals, it also seems to imply that people could kill people just as long as they think they are a menace to society. Children could grow up thinking that killing another "bad" person as easy as that is something they could consider an achievement. They get lauded for putting the law in their hands. i dont know about you guys but i still value due process of law. getting justice in this country isnt really fair, as many think it is. But doing another evil to fight evil makes it all worse. Ani na lang jud ta katapulan...

Read the papers, all of those who were killed, except for the child of one of the "suspects" who is already dead. Had prior criminal records and were either out of jail because of the following reasons:

    1. escaped from jail
    2. finished serving their sentence
    3. caught in the act but the victim did not file a case choosing to forgive the offender thereby offender goes back to his old ways.

Anyway, read Sunstar it has the names and the criminal cases of those who were killed by the vigilantes. These guys have been given their day in court and have been given a chance to reform, but they still insist on going back to their old ways. These guys are convicted criminals who have gone in and out of prison not first time offenders. And don't even start justifying their committing crimes because of poverty. Bottomline is these people are just lazy and want to earn a quick buck by robbery or snatching. They steal not to feed their families but to buy drugs. If your heart bleeds for these criminals try to visit the relatives of those who were killed by these robbers and talk to them about justice for the criminals. Did these criminals give their victims a chance before shooting them? They shoot the victims even after the victims gave their money or valuables without putting up a fight. Go figure it out.

Just like children, If they don't listen, no matter how hard it is for a parent you need to give them a good spanking sometimes. " Speak softly but carry a big stick "

    peace.
