When i think about it, id prefer an ugly-but-rich.

because a handsom-but-poor would do ANYTHING for money... thats why many call girls/boys are so good looking.

But the ugly-but-rich has nothing to get from you aside from your affection. He has everything he can have since he can get it himself, but the only thing he cannot buy is you wab-wab. naks!

Besides, if he's rich, it means he's educated. He couldn't have gained all that money on a whim, but with hard work and effort. so even if mu bankrupt me, nya batig nawng-na-pobre na siya, he'll be smart enough to get back what he lost.

we had a poll like this in my company, but ours was more elaborate like ur ugly but a normal person(option a) and poor but beautiful ( option b ). THe point is Ugliness can be a cause of abnormality, what if ur a dwarf person? I dont really think that "option a" will win.

and btw its a landslide win for the boys on "option b" but on the girls side "option a" won by just a small margin.

ugliness cannot be an abnormality. Just because someone doesnt fit your preference or standard as "beautiful" doesnt mean that he/she is ugly due to abnormality. that's quite a shallow conclusion.

just a guess, perhaps girls are just prone to look at others as what they are (as people) and not what they look like, may they be dwarfs or 'abnormals' while guys are impulsively shallow.
