JASON GO .... seen and shot the ParaOrd's WARTHOG ? I tried it in the range thru rental and it was a blast . Recoil was minimum as to my expectations considering its 3" barrel . Could be a candidate for future choice of concealed carry weapons of choice for me bisan di siya from SPRINGFIELD ARMORY hehehe .

Any firearm if properly used by a properly trained individual will know no limits . I am just saying the stopping power caliber wise because in the the real world , PRACTICAL SHOOTING doesnt exist . Its just AIM and SHOOT . You wont go wrong as attested by the .45 ACP , person may live but it will cut him or her short being a THREAT that very moment when regulated .
yes sir that was me on the pic, I know a race gun wud not be very practical on the real world, but in the perfect world this is what I would carry...

true you won't go wrong with a .45, even with a less accurate shot you could disable your assailant. but its difcult to luk for a small enough .45 for carry. its better to have something small that you can bring along everyday rather than having the firepower and leave it in the car or house coz its heavy.

i really love watching open and modified division shooters performing, sa speed man gud mag lahi rakrakanay gyud na ila compared to standard and production shooters, race guns man sad gud nang mga open og modified, but as i mentioned it boiled down to practicality and im happy of my decision kay na familiarized gyud nako ako gun. amen. hehehe
I saw your collection of firearms you posted on yahoo, I hope you don't mind sir... nice... I love the rifle... I just notice a couple of things, you didn't get your para checkered on the grip? it helps with checkering specially when you are shooting the whole day. may I also suggest replacing your front sight into the fiber optic, much faster on sight aquisition. I changed my single stack .45 front sight and it help me alot specially on speed stages.

actually fiber optic na akong front sight bai, you can see it sa latest pics na yellow og blue ang akong grip. dako gyud tabang fiber optic, you can notice it almost immediately in your times.

ive seen it only on the web and some magazines, i would love to test it, if given the opportunity hehehe, the best i've come close to is a P12, but i didnt have the opportunity to test it.

according to some "experts" in the U.S, the warthog is a great ccw and is attracting a lot of interests, because of its bullet capacity, concealability and fire power(with the right choice of bullet of course) and they love it just because it is basically a 1911 and you know americans love their 1911s(they take a lot of pride about it)

i saw the fiber optice, my bad..

buy an STI, you can hav an STI setup using .45 and you can just change the plastic reciever into a single stack, its already available. plastic is much lighter, and you can play around on the grips have it checkered and if you don't like it just get a new plastic replacement no harm done "except for the wallet" hehehe
