The prequel however failed to generate as much interest as the original (don't they all?). This prequel primarily starred by a Filipino-American actor-singer in a major role. However, after the primary movie was done and viewed by the producers, they insisted to change it for being "not scarry enough". They changed the director and the writer and made another version. After the second version of the prequel, the producers were satisfied but this version no longer includes the Fil-Am actor-singer and had an african-american(?) to take his role.
