this is a bit OT but Pinoy Pride man ghapon.
we are so quick to point out pinoys or even half pinoy in the worldstage. like nicole schringzer and enrique iglesias being half filpino, or about charice or arnel pineda, even the ex husband of jlo being filipino was already a big deal to some. and then we declare to the whole world how great we are as a people, that we are the best singers in the world, the best boxers, best nurses blah blah...
on the other hand, i rarely encounter malaysians bragging too much about jimmy choo being malaysian, or the thais about tiger woods being half thai,or the chinese about yao ming. when a korean wins a major golf tournament or takes the gold in ice skating, unlike us, they dont go crazy telling the world their victory.
