i can't argue, the law is the law.
but you can't compare a street vendor to a person that owns a car.
ang na-ay car, makabayad ra sa fine, ang vendor mag lisod bayad even for a single meal.
ako lang gyud, ayaw lang abuso coz we know for a fact our government can't help everyone because they are too busy helping themselves.
have you helped a poor countryman lately or ever in your life and get them off the streets?

diba no one is above the law?
applicable ra diay na sa mga dato?
salig dili sila maka bayad dili nalang nato i implement ang balaod sa ila?

diba ang balaod kai para sa tanan.. dato or pobre

still up for bayani.... that is reality, as mmda it is his primary duty to implement what is needed to organize metro manila... it is no longer his concern regarding how to give the vendors opportunity to earn a better living... another agency is tasked to that...

The services under the jurisdiction of MMDA are those services which have metro-wide impact and transcend legal political boundaries or entail huge expenditures such that it would not be viable for said services to be provided by the individual LGUs comprising Metropolitan Manila.
These services include: (1) Development planning: (2) Transportation and traffic management: (3) Solid waste disposal and management: (4) Flood control and sewerage management: (5) Urban renewal, zoning, land use planning and shelter services; and (6) Health sanitation, urban protection and pollution control and public safety.

do you think they even own the carts? how will they eat after that? wala pa tingali mo kasulay gi gutom ug usa ka adlaw noh?
these guys are desperate but they try to work and earn an honest living pa.

if I we're bayani, gather the vendors humanely (as if dakop na warning) then educate them on what the government can do to help them to get legitimate jobs. not smash their livelihood, the work they only know of in front of everyone and get humiliated.

most of these guys never finished highschool nor even started highshool.

kung pusher or kawatan pana sila, ambit gyud ko kulata. but these guys do not deserve that much punishment and humiliation.

Not only is he only killing their stomachs but also their dreams.

There is always a right way to do everything.
basin gipang ingnan na ni sila daan but nagpa gahi2x lng jd. u know na ra ba nga naay juy tao nga gahi maskin unsa-on pa nmo pagtarong og istorya nila.

nka adto na kog EDSA and nka kita ko kng unsa ang situation ngadto. basin ang place nga ilang gibaligya-an ky delikado or nka sagabal sa kadaghanan.

if ikaw ni tarong og sulti sa mga tao nga "bawal ang ing ani, bawal ang ing ana" and "naay ta laws nga ing ani and rules nga ing ana" unya dili ka paminawn or kng paminawn mn gni ky ipa lapos ra sa pikas dunggan, unsa mn kha ang imong bati-on?

and by the way, dili mn sd c bayani kaha ang nag maltrato sa mga tao? dili mn kaha siya mismo ang nag-guba and sunog sa mga carts? ang mga tao ra mn kaha sa mmda?

    suko sad!!! twing!!!

pwerte jud kalawgaw ning gusto sa pinoy....

“My running is symbolic,” Fernando said, adding that it will be a term where laws will be implemented. He added that his sidewalk demolitions were symbolic for obeying laws and said the nation’s problems stem from the fear of leaders to implement laws and displease the people. So laws, which are solutions to problems, become useless impositions, he said.

unsa-on man diay bro? don't tell me ato lang ingnon nga "hawa mo diri ha, ayaw namo balik"
we've already done that, dba tan-awa mobalik ra gyapon na. we need full force implementation of the law.
kung dali palang ta kasabut sa balaod og dili ta magpabadlong dili man mohantong sa ingon ana cguro.
kadaghan na ang gobyerno mo-warning nila og mobadlong pero sa kagahi sa ulo mobalik gyapon, i salute mmda of doing what needs to be done.

like the rest of the guys here: "ignorance of the law excuses no one"
kasuway nako ani, gidakop ko sa SM kay nanglabay kog kendi wrapper sa una.
i'm still in highschool and pordoy ra sad ko, wala jud ko ikabayad og P500
mao nang ila ko gi-detain sa khaosiong bus for almost 5 hours kay wla sad ko patabang sa ako ginikanan
kay wala sad silay ikabayad. gipalimpyo nalang ko sa tinago barangay hall nya batsi dayon after.
The law is the law, mercy should no be given who violates it. We need to set an example for others to follow.
