    di bai gi tuyo nang Gwen para ma abli tong power plant sa Naga heheh

    i think dugay na kaua nnag issue sa power deficit sa Cebu... tong 2005 guro na gi predict sa study na karong year onwards mag experience gyud tag rotational brownouts tungod ana

    comment lang ko gamay ani sir... dili man tingali ang operating frequency sa ato electricity ang ila gi maintain...
    mao nang rotational brown out.. kai dili enough ang power (watts) nga na produce sa power plant para sa demand sa tibook grid

    ang NGCP ang nagmaintain sa frequency, unya ang NGCP ang tig mandar sa VECO para mag MLD (manual load dropping) kung muubos sa 60Hz ang frequency. mao btaw na ang logo sa NGCP, purma ug letter "N" ang sinewave nga nagrepresent sa frequency.

    @masakiton..

    True, the demand is greater than the supply... Pero, ang una ma affected if magkadako na ang demand kaysa sa supply kay ang operating frequency.

    It's like this, the more the electric demand there is, sa side sa power plants, makaya pa ang demand, pero magka bug at ang force nga e counteract sa turbines or prime movers like diesel gensets, etc..

    Then magka bug at ang load sa generator, then mao rana iya limit makaya or maximum capacity... magka hinay ang speed sa generator... then the speed of the generator is directly proportional to the operating frequency of the electric power grid.

    @makoy18
    thanks!

    Ang NGCP, sila ang nag monitor sa frequency sa grid. One way nga mahibaw an nga nagka dako ang demand kay mo drop ang frequency. If mo drop ang frequency, NGCP will contact the different power plants to increase their Power Generation. Vice versa, if ang operating frequency will increase (61 hertz), delikado man gihapon na sa system, from the consumers, to the power plants... NGCP will again contact the different power plants to decrease their Power Generation.

    If in case, all the power plants are already at their maximum capacities, like we encounter now, NGCP will contact VECO to perform load shedding, or in layman's term, rotational brownouts in certain areas.

    nimahal ang bayranan kay ang uban diesel plants mapugos mag padagan ang uban kay gas turbines ang padaganon aron lang likayan magbrown-out. nya adto ihapak sa customers ang bayad sa fuel. kay willing man jud mubayad ang customers bahalag mahal kaysa walay power.

    always lng gyd ni cla..hay...u know guys...try calling the Cust service sa inung bill and inquire regarding sa inung charges..you'll be amaze on how they explain it...and how they came up with those depressing numbers..

    been following VECO Cebu sa ilang twitter na account..

    usually ilang i posts ky mga ups na or actual blackout na lugar..

    mas maau sad if mu tweet pud sila ug mga warnings like "in 2 hrs blackout ta ron diha sa labangon" para at least makapangandam pud ta ba..
