Slapshock: astig or jologs?

first things first..am not in2 hardcore stuff, but still there are still songs of slapshock dat's not quite popular but very cool..'ne one heard of purple and my skar?

basically the vox can't sing and he can't even scream... but the instumentalist plays well... daghan na mu deny nila karon kay dili na cool ang rap metal pero kabalo ko... daghan ni sulti na jologs ang slapshock karon na namalit sa ila album sa una and naa sa ila mga gig diri cebu. ay nata ilara... may lang ang uban tao dra kung cool pa ang banda dah! pag mu lahi na gani ang trend birahan dayn.

it's just like "emo". sugod naman gani ang uban tao bira ug emo kay nag sugod na kawala ang fad... hinay2x na ang mga tao claim na progressive ila tirada or indie when infact it is still "emo" pero dili nalang cool ang "emo" mao na pina prog/indie na kunohay ila music kay mao nasad ang cool.

ka lo-uy sad aning slapshock oi and the whole rap metal genre. basta ako minaw ko limpbiskit sa una... minaw sad ko korn. di lang slapshock kay cheese fan man ko ato... hehehehehehe...

criticism is good when it's constructive, when it's done so that music, or any art for that matter, will improve. but kung pure panaway lang, that's unfair. peace!

whoever compose the thread above is one heck of a person with a very beautiful mind....anyhoo, i LiKe sLapShOcK even the music scene nowadays is slowly drifting away from rap metal..it is unfair if people judge them. what makes it worse if those "judges" cannot even make a best-selling or platinum awarded album.

music is art. and every artist has his/her own way of expressing that art.

sakto gyud ka, pero ako mo angkon ko di gyud ko ganahan anang rap metal aka (nu metal) kay sa 80's ko kadako maybe kung teen ager ko sa late 90's siguro ganahan kog nu metal, so mga Iron Maiden, metallica, judas priest og slayer ang akong naabtan, uban na sab diha ang bon jovi og guns n roses. pero karon kasagaran nga ganahan og GnR og Bon Jovi atong panahona mo deny na sila, di na kono sila maminaw, pero sa tinooray diha sila gasugod........ what a shame, mao na silay mga real posers....................

di lang sa pagsaway ha, pero mapili ra ang respetado sa nu metal, namely korn, deftones, rage against the machine and the rest is crap like limp bizkit, ......... for short ang kanang akong gi mention they are true to their style not a copy cat........
