    Good point!

I will give you 5 points! However, You could have expounded your answers more by providing examples and case studies and also don't forget to cite some sources as your basis! This completes your answer to this question and you don't need to answer it again!

Genes, Culture and Gender is under social influence because we are born like an empty disk but because of these three things that compose our "identity", it serves as our guide and norms on how to act and behave accordingly.

You don't need to answer these questions! This is just part of our study!

In Social Influence, what are these unseen social forces that push and pull us? How powerful are they? Research on social influence helps illuminate the invisible strings by which our social worlds move us about. This part reveals these subtle powers, especially the cultural sources of attitudes and behavior (Chapter 5), the forces of social conformity (chapter 6), the principles of persuasion (chapter7), the consequences of participation in groups (chapter 8, and how all these influences operate together in everyday situations.

Seeing these influences, we may better understand why people feel and act as they do. And we may better understand why people feel and act as they do. And we may ourselves become less vulnerable to unwanted manipulation and more adept at pulling our own strings.

    Let the fun begin!
When we talked about Social Influence, we refer it to simply how people are influenced socially. These three(genes, culture and gender) contributes significantly to our social selves, on how we behave and interact socially.

The Genes which is biologically rooted and that we inherited from our ancestors is our initial setup or the first influence on how we are supposed to deal with ourselves and our surroundings. The Genetic structure contributes to our behaviors, attitudes and later on personalities in life. These genes have existed a long long time ago and has been passed with the code of how to survive as well as our other traits and more importantly how to communicate and handle our environment.

The Culture is another major contributor in how we are socially influenced. The moment you are born and "cultivated", you are already exposed and learning that culture. It is undeniable that the culture we have grown up with is inscribed within us as we grow up. This culture is passed on through our primary caregivers(parents) and is further enlightened through extended networks of relatives, friends and rivals as well. Undoubtedly, Culture influenced us immensely that when we are exposed to a different kind of culture, we feel we get out of place or most commonly called culture shock.

The Gender also influenced us big time. Gender is one of the most identifying influence in the sense it sets our identity role as male or female. This would then set on what kind of behavior and attitude we should take on. For example, if we are male, typically we should set a leaderish type and masculine type of values such as just, courageous and athletic. And for females we usually have this image of emotional support, loving, caring and understanding.

These is why I think these three are part of Social Influence.

    Remember some of these rules:

    1. For every 60 points you accumulate, you will get a 1.0 grade in your class standing and this will be added to another 60 points divided by 2 or more! So, the more points you have, the better the grade!

    2. Once you have answered the question, you cannot answer it back to regain more points.

    3. There are a total of 300 points to accumulate to get a 1.0 in this particular topic on Social Influence or depending on the teacher's discretion if it would be possible to go to the next topic!
