This is the problem with this thread--it has become a discussion on real world rape, rather than the game itself--people, we're talking about a game, a work of fiction. Furthermore, wala pa gani ninyo makit-an ang game, mag conclude na dayon mo. Is that the way or method of being a rational person?

I'm afraid of flying, hence I take flying simulation classes. The purpose of simulation: desensitization.

As a flight simulation enthusiast, I have to point out a slight flaw in your reasoning.

Possibly 95% of people who are into flight simulation do it because of two primary reasons:

a) They want to learn about flying (and some eventually become real pilots in the process).

b) They want to have fun while learning.

If you are afraid of flying, then I'm afraid flight simulation isn't exactly the ideal venue for your "desensitization"--better find a psychologist/psychiatrist. It's better to leave issues of "being afraid of something" to the experts.

Furthermore, it's becoming apparent that the concern here is the fact that someone mentioned that this is a "simulation" of rape, which is frankly, far from the truth (it's too crude to be considered a "simulation"...it's more like an adventure game, or an erotic novel). I can make this comment because I've played it. Meanwhile, some of you keep saying (almost like an automatic response) that it's "bad" or "immoral" yet you haven't even seen nor played the game.

FYI, I'm 37 years of age, and I have a 9-year old daughter and I'm a loving and caring dad to her. Your act of stereotyping me is typical of close-minded people, so it doesn't surprise nor bother me. Of course I won't let her play with this sort of game, just the same as I don't let her watch my porn stash. What's the difference in that?

Perhaps the only significant news in this thread is the realization that most of you don't know what's going in and around the 'net (which in itself, is also not surprising at all, considering you built up an illusion of a "safe, and moral world" around you) and the real world, in general.
