law school! joining you in about 2 years. hehe. I have other plans as of now. Anyway, a friend took the LAE last December in Cebu. He took it because he wanted to finish the Math part of a UP entrance exam. Too bad for him. The examinees were given 20 minutes only. So, there's probably no need to hash up on the algebra

No interview for the top 50 or 100 people who pass the LAE. The next bracket will be interviewed. Their transcript will also be evaluated. Only 250 people i think will be accepted. Will have to confirm this though.

    ADMU's my first choice. Mahal.

also, i was told there's only one essay question in the exam.

    AdM's my first choice too...

ALS (ateneo law school) achieved a 12-year average of 87.40 percent, followed by San Beda College with 80.15 percent, and the UP College of Law with 76.47 percent, according to the Supreme Court's statistical data sheets from 1991 to 2002.

Carolinian lawyers/law students! I was bitterly disappointed to see that a person I tried to help (taga USC ra ba) failed an interview because he put the wrong meaning of LLB in his CV.

    As in expected to finish 2007: L___, L___, B___.

Unsa man ang saktong meaning, be? Because I always emphasize that to my studes.

Diba LL is one word while B is another and not L one word, L another, and B for the last letter?

As what I know L stands for Lex in Latin which means Law while LL is is abbreviation for the plural legum (of laws) and B is for Baccalaureus. Thus; Ll.B. is Legum Baccalaureus.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Very good! Legum is the possessive plural of Lex. Thus Ll. in the same way Pages is pp.

A lot of students and lawyers from USC man gud, I was so disappointed to find, actually believed this stands for LEX LECES BACCELERES. This was started as a joke by someone many years ago. I didn't know that too many people actually believed it until I saw my friend's CV.
