This is what gay people do not understand in this life.
Although this is just my personal theory--
here goes my understanding about gay persons in this lifetime:

If you are gay,
it means that your sexuality aspect of your soul is taken away.
This is probably because you abused your sexuality in the previous life.

For example, in your previous life you probably abused women.
Use them as *** objects.
Have relationships with many women sexually even if he already has a wife.

As punishment for that soul, when he dies, and when his soul returns to God--
his sexuality aspect is taken away from him.
Thus he will be reborn as gay.

They are not designed to have sexual relationships unless they learn their lesson.
They must learn that *** is not for recreation but for procreation.

But if he learn his lessons.
He will use their being male to love a woman and have children with her.

imho, if a guy falls in love with a gay, then he's not straight. you'd probably have better luck with a bisexual or another gay. i'm not trying to judge homosexual relationships coz i believe that as long as it's really love, it's fine.
