For me the system of thought sounds good, one tends to be responsible with his own action, no more finger pointing when things doesnt turn out to our favor, one become & active part in discovering the meaning to every events of his life, one tends to discipline his mind.
Ug para nako whether your a christian or not, believer of a god or not the concept will enhance one's AWARENESS, eastern thinkers always emphasized mindfullness..To consider that 'nothing happens by chance" somehow creates a different groove of mental patterns that might lead to AWARENESS or MINDFULLNESS,,. Knowledge are but information stored in ones brain, but it doesn't follow all the time that a person is wise or at least loving..In our school (including religion)more often than not we are taught "what to think" & not so much on "how to think".
And i put a heavy weight on education that teaches how to question everything, not to accept but to consider; that teaches you to obey you inner guidance/judgement.
I hope wala ko ma ot re your question ug motoo ba ko, though the above ideas were the consequences right after i consider "that nothing happens by chance". i may be wrong but its a better idea as compared to my unquestioned paradigms before.
