Before I begin this post, I would like to declare that this post is intended only to those who tend to generalize or formulate a conclusion from simple statements.

I just want to remind the others, that it doesn't immediately follow that, since a work of fiction has truths in it, that it means the work of fiction has some profound, earth-shaking meaning that should change the world's perception of the supernatural.

Analogy. The Watchmen graphic novel has President Nixon in it. President Nixon is a truth found inside a fictional story. President Nixon is real. But it would be wrong to declare that the Watchmen and all their superpowers are real, just because President Nixon, a real person, a truth, is mentioned in the story.

indeed sir, that is a noble thing to say.

but i think most people who are too excited about that novel, havent read anything decent on the same theme as the novel, is really going to hold on to dear life in pointing out that the novel possesses deep truths, earth-shattering, among other things. apparently, these are the same people who cant seem to figure out where to find the general reference section in a library.

I have read lots of references about the novel. That's why i was so excited to read the book. I don't believe in the fictional side of the story but the meaning of the symbols behind the story and that is the difference sire.

but still, there's still that conscience that bugs me.. saying "what if the Vatican really is hiding something from the world??" hehehhehehhe
Do you want to know the secrets of the Vatican? Then read the book SECRETS OF THE VATICAN by: Timothy Beckley

SHOT WITHIN THE WALLS OF THE HOLY CITY WITH HIDDEN CAMERAS THE VATICAN has been shrouded in mystery and intrigue for centuries. Except for the highest Cardinals and Bishops, the public and even members of the priesthood are not privy to the inner workings of the Church. It is rumored that there are in the secret archives centuries-old artifacts that, if exposed, could embarrass the standard-bearers of the faith. Searching for truth has always been the Conspiracy Journal's main goal. With this in mind, the authors recently "invaded" the walls of the Vatican with their hidden cameras on a fact finding mission. On their return, they followed up their investigation by interviewing such astute researchers as: Jordan Maxwell - Brad Steiger - Patricia Ress Penny Melis Diane Tessman SOME OF THE EXCITING CONTENTS INCLUDE. . . Does the Vatican conceal knowledge that the crucifixion was a fraud? Is there a secret cabal of Satanists within the Vatican to further the evil conspiracy of the New World Order. Learn about the UFO sighting that occurred over the Vatican the morning of the funeral of Pope John Paul. Can exorcism be a futile effort that often results in the death of the possessed? Does the Vatican possess a time machine which they have used to go back to witness the crucifixion of Jesus? What secrets is the Vatican keeping about the perilous future of our world? Is the Vatican link to the Hubble Telescope evidence that they are aware of a world-destroying comet headed toward Earth? Examine with these researchers the reports of Vatican conspiracies, the sinking of the Titantic, the assassination of Lincoln, Satanic rituals, celibacy and madness, demon possession, and much much more that the Vatican would like to keep a deep, dark secret. While this book explores some of the many mysteries that have enshrouded the Vatican since its inception, I have no particular hostility against the Roman Catholic Church and we are fully aware of the controversial nature.

conspiracy theories in the grand scale are like pringles. once you pop, you cant stop.

the vatican secrets, the secrets of the new world, the secrets of freud, the secrets of atlantis, the secrets of russia, the secret of her majesty the queen, why simpsons is actually a propaganda, sesame street is poisoning the minds of the youth by accepting the subliminal message that homosexuality is ok (bart and ernie), that a fast food chain doesnt really produces chicken but something that was born without a head and is featherless (genetic modification), that the Knights templar are going out to take the world, that the Eiffel tower is used as a device to pass teluric waves around, that the Israeli Government is actually using Alien Technology, that Hitler is still alive. they have dozens and dozens of books on this topic, so anybody could cite a book on the topic. But it still doesnt prove anything -all speculations, in other words: GOSSIP literature.

that is what i am trying to say, there are tons of literature there on any topic from conspiracy theories to mystical stuffs, but in the ocean of it there is only a drop of decent scholarship in it. You actaully have to be familiar with the trend of research in order to filter out the decent one from the really ugly.

and then people keep labeling me as close-minded. simply because i consider some topics and books as just plain wrong and ugly.
