Before I begin this post, I would like to declare that this post is intended only to those who tend to generalize or formulate a conclusion from simple statements.
I just want to remind the others, that it doesn't immediately follow that, since a work of fiction has truths in it, that it means the work of fiction has some profound, earth-shaking meaning that should change the world's perception of the supernatural.
Analogy. The Watchmen graphic novel has President Nixon in it. President Nixon is a truth found inside a fictional story. President Nixon is real. But it would be
wrong to declare that the Watchmen and all their superpowers are real, just because President Nixon, a real person, a truth, is mentioned in the story.
