    The Malleus Maleficarum (Latin for “The Hammer of Witches”, or “Hexenhammer” in German) is one of the most famous medieval treatises on witches. It was written in 1486 by Heinrich Kramer and Jacob Sprenger, and was first published in Germany in 1487. Its main purpose was to challenge all arguments against the existence of witchcraft and to instruct magistrates on how to identify, interrogate and convict witches.

    I'm thinking the book was published on 1487, they must have used this book during the 1692 Salem witch trials (just a thought)

    Its better to use the word Wiccan than witch. Kana man gud ang authentic jud na tawagun ug witch is dapat naa kay bloodline nga mga practising witches and when i said practising kanang effective jud iyang mga rituals ug spells ba.

    kung Wiccan murag daghan na sila diri sa cebu.

    @Florah

    Thanks. I just think that in everyone's quest for happiness, they should have the freedom to do what they want as long as they don't hinder another person's own quest.

    @JohnA

    Nope. I didn't get to that part yet. I didn't want to start doing things without the proper knowledge or background. Wicca was, and still is, a very new religion to me. I wanted to get to know its beliefs and history before doing the learn-as-you-go thing. Lisod na ug ma-ignorante ta.

    @regnauld

    Sus dude. Ni-agi na ko ana nga stage sa akong life. Not that I regret any of it. Enjoy pud to nga time sa akong life. I had something to live for. Pero unsaon man ta na nga lisod i-reconcile akong growing personal beliefs and the beliefs of my previous religion.....

    I'm kinda "hanas" na sa pag-ignore sa mga fanatic talk. But when they go too far, mag-lagot na ko. I can always listen. But when they start sounding like bigots, aw... wa na! Hehehe.... Kapoy nang wa ta nang-hilabot, nya hilabtan ta.

    @Malic

    Wiccan and witches.... Sa akong readings, mao ra man na.... Daghan man... Pero wala ko kaila.... Nya ang na-ilhan sa akong cousin kay lahi man ang trip... So wa ko ni-sabay. Murag di naman gud Wicca. Kuyawan ko. Waaaaa.

    They are not the same. Dili tanan wiccan ay witch. But ang mga witches are wiccans.
