I wouldn't be laughing if this would happen to anyone... thanks to people conducting moose tests we could avoid vehicles prone to mishaps like this.

if kani nga statement tuohan..... DILI NALANG TA MAG TEST tanan cars... WAMAN tay ma learn.... kay its not a guarantee man kaha......
PERO padayon man gyapon ug TEST mga manufacturers... IT MEANS A TEST IS IMPORTANT AND RELIED upon....
dita mag hisgot ug "di man guaranteed ang test...." DI WALA nalay mag test.. unsay gamit... wala nalang ta na gi himo ang crash test dummies....
@ ajol: lahi sad to imo nakit-an dili mani brown its grey hehehe in-ana sya ka prone to roll-overs to think nga mas daghan pa strada ga dagan dre cebu kaysa hilux
Of course walay guarantee na safe ka ..COmmonsense oi . But its a great plus that you can think that you are more safer tungod kay ni agi na siya ug moose test specially on vehicles with higher stances like SUV'S , TRUCK'S and AUV's .
Kita ka sa mga BMW na propaganda ? How they heads on collision ang ilahang vehicles to test if ang dummy safe ba gihapon and test's if ang mga pillars di ba malumping ? Hehehe ... kana kung heads on ok ra , what if ikaw ra ang gi head-on ? Gi kilid ka ?PERO padayon man gyapon ug TEST mga manufacturers... IT MEANS A TEST IS IMPORTANT AND RELIED upon....
Nobody ever said that TEST does not GUARANTEE any SAFETY , what was said was even if that certain vehicle underwent a test already , its not a guarantee na di na siya mabali , matuwad , malumping , etc just because naka agi na siya ug TEST .dita mag hisgot ug "di man guaranteed ang test...." DI WALA nalay mag test.. unsay gamit... wala nalang ta na gi himo ang crash test dummies....
@TAMBOK .... SInce you kinda existed in the forums as a propagandist and hater of TOYOTA ... sasakyan kita in the tune of " sasakyan kita " LMFAO ... btw , 2 things for you :
- why dont you post a STRADA and a DMAX picture since you really loved the HILUX na na-totaled .
- check the HILUX's PILLAR , I dont even think with that kind " yupi " you would need the AIR BAGS . That protected the driver from being crushed other wised kung namatay man gani then there lots of factors to consider again realistically speaking . Walay seatbelts and etc . But from getting crushed ? I dont think so .
" A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. " - 2nd Amendment , Bill of Rights of the United States of America
im not a propagandist i'm only a consumer and as a consumer i'm criticizing Toyotas lack of quality and value for money..
i'm uncertain if this fits the definition of a fanboy pero... mao na lge na bah maskin asa mulusot gyud... no matter how illogical the situation is.. don't tell me okay rag mabalintong since lig-on mag pillar di ra mamatay hehehe

Regarding vehicle rollover.. notorious man tong Montero sa U.S. of rollover..
Ni collapse pa gyud ang pillar... mao diay gi recall and na discontinue ang montero brand sa U.S. I wouldn't want to buy a montero diri knowing what was wrong with its older version.
Even if manghambog mga ppl nga less prone to rollover ang current montero..... kung mu dayon gyud ug rollover.. di sad ta kasiguro if maka daog ba ang pillar.
I would assume na purga na ang mitsu ato so they smartened up their design of the Montero here.
Bottom line is.. maypa di nalang mag pakusog bisag unsa pa ang auto especially if SUV/Van type kay delikado gyud sa disgrasya.
And if the hilux / fortuner was really that prone to rollover ... wouldn't we be hearing hundreds/thousands of cases of rollover here sa Philippines.. kung grabe gyud mu rollover... hagbay ra na lukop sa law suits ang toyota not only from the Philippines.. but also from Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia.. etc... and if it was really prone to rollover... hagbay ra nag issue ug recall.
The fact is that if you base the volume of cars on the road and the occurrence of rollovers.. pareho ra ang potential to rollover tanan mga cars with high center of gravity.

^ isn't that a little off-topic since this is the Hilux and D-Max thread? and they're both pickups.
that model was the old model before mitsu designed their anti roll technology, and i believe daghan na nahitabo nga ni rollover ang hilux diri pinas pero kibaw nakas pinoy bsta dagko kompanya way dag-anan mga consumers...
bottom line is, were talking about NEW MODELS here, old models aren't included.PEACE sa new models dali ra gyud mu ligid ug mabalintong ang Hilux hehehe
PEACE!![]()
