here are my stories to share:
my neice was very fond of playing with her lolo, my late father... from his work, he unwinds by playing with his first apo...one time my neice asked, " lo, baba ko" ...usually my father would agree, but that instance, he said" dili lang sa baby, sakit man ako varicose.".......
the next day....i requested my neice to arrange and keep all her toys in the storage.....
" baby, hiposa na imo toys kaw,,,help ka ni tita ug clean sa house."
ug nitubag cya.." ay dili lang ko tita, sakit man ako varicose." toink... i didnt saw it coming!!!

you know tods have the faintest idea of death, right?
so when my father passed away, she ( same kid) was under the impression that her lolo is gone and is about to go to heaven. on my father's burial, my brother, her dad told her " ato na ihatod si lolo sa heaven...."........
as we entered manila memorial park,,, diba ka mingaw man didto...
and since burial,,, our tears are inevitably shedding....pero,
na-buak mi pag tingog sa bata..." pa, mao na ni ang heaven?".......

pag skwela na niya,,,play group pa nuon kay 3 years old paman,,,
i tutored her. her lesson that week was on vowels.
so i made a visual aid. Mama A and baby a. Mama E and baby e...and so on....
i pointed and pronounced a vowel and had her repeat after me...cguro gkapoi na cya...
" cge baby, asa man dre ang small i?
" nara dira!"
