the universe is not expanding, it has its corners but only God knows.
I don't think this is entirely correct though. the universe is never ending but God know where it ends.
correct ma'am. i also believe in the big bang.Originally Posted by tripwire

With the successful test run of the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) yesterday, now it's a matter of days toward the first man-made BIG BANG. And if everything goes well, the Big Bang no longer becomes a contentious scientific theory but "the" truth about how we came to be.
To some, the story about biblical creation becomes a fairy tale of some sorts and to others, it confirms its great metaphor.
More books to recall and theologies to revisit.
do you know what this is telling us? The epistemological method of the sciences, in this case, physics, has the same methodology to that of Theology, as a science of revelation.
In theology, there must first be a belief in something, faith, which is a requirement for itself to be a science, a study, a requirement for rationalization within this discipline.
Physics? especially in this case, how is it different? Starts with a belief, a faith, which only after that, comes reason itself and at the end, verification.
Yup, there should be a point of origin but faith. Belief that there are scientific answers than tons of questions. A reason that science has to prove with no help from a certain entity.
