no problem bai.
ang common mindset sa Pinoy kay investment una and walay life or medical insurance. Which is wrong kay masakit or mamatay, withdraw tanan investments and usually at a loss pa or wa pa katubo.
protect yourself for short term emergencies with medical insurance for your self and life insurance for your family before investing.
also when investing, if gasugod paka, start on liquid investments like mutual funds, stocks, or healthcare. kay if you need it most likely ma pull out ra nimo dayon. Go for solid investments like house, lots, and memorial lots kung
kumpleto na tanan insurance nimo, ug dako na kaayo imo savings nga you can survive major emergencies, kay dili dali mabaligya ang solid investments.
I get to save a good amount from my salary every month. Daghan2 na pud ko ug nabasa nga mga tips and strategies about saving and I picked some that I find fitting para nako. Mao ni akong usually buhaton.
1.) Save 5% of my income monthly. Kung comfortable na sa 5% a month, increase it to 7%, then to 10%. Right now I'm saving 15% of my income every month.
2.) Make a budget and stick to it. Sa budget nimo makita kung unsa gyud to imong mga kinahanglan and trust me, if it is the first time nga idetail nimo ang tanan, you will be surprised nga pwerte diay daghana nimo ug gigastosan nga di kinahanglan or pwede ilesser.
3.) Increase income. More often than not ang sweldo is either sakto ra gyud na or kuwang para isupporta sa family. The most sensible way to answer this is to increase income (dili increase income ang utang ha).
4.) Get rid of debt. I don't know kung ingon ani pud mo but debt always has a psychological impact on me. Kung naa koy utang it seems like moving forward with my savings is so hard. So either bayaran dayun ang utang or dili gyud mangutang.
5.) Set goals for your money/savings. One of the reasons why people spend a lot is because they don't set goals for their finances thus, murag walay gamit ang savings para nila because they don't know where or how to use it. If you have goals you will strive hard to achieve it. Set goals that are sensible like saving for your children's educational plan, for your retirement plan, to raise capital for business, etc. Don't make vacation, recreation, and leisure as long term goals. It won't do any good in the long run.
Savings is a habit and it takes time to develop. One of the reasons why people struggle to save is because they don't have the patience to wait and once they fail, they don't try again or look for other ways. Be patient and be consistent after all, you'll really struggle either way. But pili lang, you struggle but doing your best to save and come up with a good strategy to save later on (which will really pay off) or enjoy your money now but struggle tomorrow because you already spent it all?

If saving lang ky easy ra...
Know pila imu expenses per week.
then make a goal to cut it down. Example 1k per week imu gasto make a goal to cut it down to 800 or lesser the following week. i list pd imu action plans how to cut it down like starting tomorrow mag baon naka sa work. Cut imu expenses every week. Hinay hinay lang gd.
Have goals pd para maganahan ka mu save like mag save ka kay mag start kag business or mag invest ka sa mutual funds.
Stay focus. There are times man na u will need to gasto for emergency or u need na magpagawas ug money. Be thankful nlng na naa kay money na napagawas and wala ka nangutang. Don't be discouraged keep saving!
Aside from paying yourself first learn pd ug give ug tithes.
Because of my desire to save I was able to quit smoking.
no extravagant spending....
buy assets, not liabilities. Palayo anang mga new gadgets ug uban pa nga makabitik sa kwarta.

live simple life..
combine all of their posts and suggestions it'll come in just two words....
disciplined saving
people can't really live on a boring life i myself don't want a boring life so i don't suggest depriving yourself into buying stuffs you like or doing things you really like or party yourself till dawn until you drop dead to the ground. who would want to live a boring life anyways? just have a saving habit after that you can live your life on what's left.
save first!..
