personally brad, dili ko mutuo nga dunay literal nga talking snake..
something however indeed talked and tempted eve, and that would be the adversary..
perhaps symbolically and figuratively portrayed as the serpent.

besides, the catholic church doesn't teach that it was a snake that tempted eve nor it was a literal serpent that did so..
the church teaches that Satan tempted eve..and in the vastness of theological aspects of this subject..Satan may either have taken the form of a serpent? to appear as one within nature to deliver its scheme..or the serpent was just symbolic and figurative..

"The Church does not have the authority to ordain women. In his apostolic letter Ordinatio Sacerdotalis, Pope John Paul II declared "that the Church has no authority whatsoever to confer priestly ordination on women" (4).

Some of the reasons cited include:

1.The example recorded in the Sacred Scriptures of Christ choosing his apostles only from among men
2.The constant practice of the Church, which has imitated Christ in choosing only men
3.The Church’s living teaching authority has consistently held that the exclusion of women from the priesthood is in accordance with God’s plan for his Church."

Naa napud nang figurative/symbolic palusot ninyo, basta istorya sa bibliya na kataw.anan na kaayo mu lusot dayon mo sa "figurative/symbolic" argument, para dili kaayo mahimong kataw.anan ang inyong relihiyon.

Pwede silang tawagong bright sa ubang field, pero the fact that they still blindly believe in a fictional fairy tale still makes them delusional gullible brain farts.

Can I ask for your personal opinion on this? As a Catholic, do you agree that women shouldn't be priests?
