if you see it that way, the point really is this Life is not our own and we only die kung kuhaon na ta sa Ginoo..we suffer if God allows us to suffer be it for our indulgence or those people around us..or for whatever purpose God would see fit..
so as long as we're still breathing then we ought to breathe.

i nearly died of sepsis caused by a ruptured appendix years ago..
Yes this Life is not our own, kung maohon pa, kaya ra unta nato likayan ang mga sakit disgrasya, mga katalagman ug kaya ra unta nato nga di mamatay. di gani ta kabuot kung mumata pa ba ta ugma..

the notion "we suffer if god allows us to" is of course Christian as it acknowledges the sovereignty of God as the owner of all things including our lives. God allowed us to suffer be it as a result of our poor choices, others or some unexplained causes. no more, no less..
it doesn't mean that we do not do anything about our sufferings, most of all we or others should learn from them.

i was a religion and religious hater from early adolescence to my early twenties. i didn't grew up in a religious Home. i never had religious instructions nor read the bible until i was in college tungod ra pud sa REED..and a whole lot more of other things you do not know about me..
so how in the world have i been brainwashed since childhood when i didn't have a religion to get brainwashed from to begin with?
