big projects, big kickbacks!

It would have been a worthwhile project if, that's a big IF a thorough study was made on the effects of these projects and its long term viability as against the overall traffic situation of the city and not just a particular intersection. Take the case of the planned flyover at Asilo, on approaching it from CIC, there is an intersection from Ayala that can hamper the flow and after the flyover is another intersection (Escario) which again does not seem to actually help the flow of traffic. there are many more considerations to take into account, which apparently was not considered at all.

as @necrotic freak says, 'big projects, big kickbacks!' is pretty much obvious in these proposed project. where these go, I can only speculate... but someone will definitely make millions on the side for pushing this...
