I think it's like St. Monica's case wherein because of the fact that she was the mother of St. Augustine of Hippo and having said to have converted his heretic husband she was made a saint.. because of her pious act for her family she was made a saint.. parihas anang naay bright nga mga managsuon ba, mkaingon jud ta nga they are raised by great parents...

Same na sa kang Mary, by being delegated the task of becoming a vessel for the demi-god Papa Jesus, she must be the holiest of holy, 2nd to Papa Jesus.. so that's why people revere her so much.. we must not forget however that Jesus never called her mother, nor implied so that He sees her as her mother,. From the Catholic Perspective, Jesus is not a demigod(half god and human or a lesser god) but rather the 2nd person of the Holy Trinity, equal, consubstantial and coeternal with the Father and Spirit.

although we know that Jesus can be considered as Mary's biological son because of the fact that He came out from her womb, this however does not mean that Mary's humanity affects the divinity of Christ because Mary is conceived without original sin( the doctrine of immaculate conception.)
this however does not mean that Mary is god in herself for being born without bearing the sin of adam..but rather a soul cleansed and saved by God in a different fashion than all of us as the holy vessel of the word incarnate.

we must not forget however that Jesus never called her mother, nor implied so that He sees her as her mother,. Jesus always calls her "woman".. parihas rnang ingnon nimo imong mama, "Babay tagae ko'g plete"...

if that's how you see it. then so be it. hehe

but please remember that Jesus taught about respecting and loving our parents.
calling Mary His mother as woman does not necessarily mean He disregards or disrespects her as His mother...like the example you gave above..

but rather, Jesus is both divine and human in nature so when Jesus speaks with authority over all things and creation, including Mary, the mother of His humanity, He is speaking in His divine nature. just like when Jesus address Himself as the son of God does not necessarily mean that He is a lesser God than the Father but rather He is speaking about His human nature that is created by God.. otherwise Jesus wouldn't have said to Philip in John 14:9-11
"Have I been with you so long and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?".

i don't deem myself as someone who knows better than others, i just answer and defend the Catholic Faith to the best of my knowledge about the Church's Doctrines and Teachings.

My ex used to work for atong sister sa among Parish Priest sauna., and she used to live in the convent.. muoli na siya sa convent everyday gabii na kay mag tend pman sa tindahan sa igsuon sa pari, nya late na manira.. sometimes maabtan niya ang pari nga mag-inom, magsugal, ug manigarilyo, murag dragon.. then the f*cking priest would often follow her and grab her boobs, and her behind.. bisan ug sober pa ang pari iya gihapon nang buhaton,..

then one time kuno while they were eating nga sila rang duha sa sala, the f*cking priest told her nga pwede ba nga mahimo nga inahan sa iyang bata, all expenses paid.. she would often text me nga kuyawan siya muoli sa convent kay nag-inom ang pari nya siya rang usa kay iyang mga kauban nanguli..

i wrote a letter to the Archdiocese stating these facts.. but wala man ko tubaga..
