looks good enough, but i tweak gamay imo setup.
for motherboard, get at least B75-based chipset. gamay ra price difference ani from an H61-based. naay available ani na boards less than 3K
for memory get 8GB(2x4gb) 1600mhz to match mem-support sa imo i3-iby bridge- gskill dual-kits costs about 1.8-2.1k

inata na gamay imo budget for these adjustments.

^why not an AM3+ platform?

An FX 4300 + entry level board with AM3+ procie support cost almost the same. The FX 4300 is faster plus the board can accommodate higher processors in the future.

Actually, i put a lot of thought about that bro. The point is, the 4300 is still sparse locally and its actually 1k more expensive for only a few mhz more which can easily be compensated by the unlocked multiplier (K).

Other than that, the 4300 is certainly a good deal..





Edit: On second thought, ill look into it bro. Sakto, murag madala ra man ang price tungod sa savings sa board. Only need to check store availability now.. Thanks..

The FM2 path is good given Richland is expected this year. But the gpu part is quite a waste with the HD7850 already doing the work. Maybe if AMD will release their crippled FM2 APUs ( Athlon II X4 9xx ) rumored since last year then I'd go with it more than the FX 4300.

The FX 4300 is more like a trinity than a vishera IMO. It's crippled so bad that the FX 4170 looks more of a better value with its higher clock speed and bigger L3 cache. Yup I think the FX 4170 is a much better deal.

But since the FX 4170 never reached our shores, the FX 4300 is the best procie at that range. Plus if crazy enough an FX 8350 might work on a P2k+ board assuming it won't burn first hehehe.

Naah.. Dugay na ko gahuwat ana nga cpu (4170) to be available locally aron naa na koy ikabutang nga AMD sa choices. Unfortunately, wala gyud na kaabot sa atoa.

Anyway, will look into 4300 availability and local pricing..
